First, you need to put a little earth on the bottom of the bottle, then start cutting out the "holes".At the bottom of the bottle, according to the size of the bulbs, it is necessary to cut round holes in a checkerboard pattern, up to the top of the bottle, gradually reducing the number of holes. And add more soil. Then you should lay out the next layer of onions and the next layer of soil, gradually working towards the top until the entire bottle is full. So the roots of the onion will grow inside the bottle, in the ground, and the tops will grow outside. In addition, such a design takes up very little space, and gives a lot of yield.
