Of course, when harvesting from your own summer cottage, you really want to share it with your neighbors and household members as soon as possible. But when the gardener observes that pests and parasites develop on the plant, which slowly but surely (and some quickly and spontaneously) destroy the crop, then the question immediately arises: what means should be used in order to get an effective, but at the same time a result that is safe for your own life?
The answer is simple: many gardeners opt for the so-called green anti-pest soap, which has a safe composition and a high degree of effectiveness. For gardeners, green soap is not sold in the form of pieces: as a rule, it is a brown, green liquid, which, among other things, has an unusual thick consistency. From the soap, this liquid retained only the smell, but its basis is glue, hence the viscosity.
The main ingredient, paradoxically for green soap against pests and diseases, is also not soap: these are potassium salts of fatty acids. Therefore, the people call this green soap "potash soap". In addition, the composition contains fats, vegetable oils, water. Quite natural ingredients, which differ in efficiency in use, and relative safety, which is extremely important.

However, there are some safety precautions to keep in mind when using green soap for pest control, because no matter how safe the drug is, it is still used to control pests. This means that if used incorrectly, green potash soap can cause one or another harm to the person himself. Modern gardeners and gardeners consider the following factors to be safety measures:
- in no case should green soap be used for the implementation of root treatments, since in large quantities it can lead to the destruction of the root system, disrupt the natural balance of the soil layer;
- Do not use this product on your hands and do not wash garden accessories such as gloves. This is due to the fact that it is still a chemical that can adversely affect human health;
Ideally, wear gloves, goggles, and a respirator before using green pest soap, as these will help protect the person's mucous membrane from exposure to sprays. This is important, since various substances are absorbed most quickly through the mucous membrane, so a person can get different forms of poisoning if he deals with green soap and does not protect himself from it and its vapors. It is also worth remembering that after application, all equipment, as well as the spray bottle from which the plants are processed, should be rinsed so that no traces of green soap remain.
Features of pest control
It is worth remembering that such a remedy as green soap from pests must be used against various kinds of pests. First of all, green soap is effective against aphids, thrips, scale insects, bedbugs and pennies.In each case, it is necessary to dilute green soap separately, depending on which pest is to be fought with. As a rule, the methods and amount of dilution are indicated on the back of the package, where the instructions for the use and dilution of green soap are located.
Both garden and indoor plants are processed. It is best to process indoor plants in an open space, such as a balcony. They are also sprayed from spray guns with a solution of green soap, which is diluted depending on the given parameter and on the pest with which the fight will be carried out in the future.
