Yablonya Studencheskoe is a late winter variety; it was bred on the basis of Lomonosov Moscow State University by S. I. Isaev, V. V. Vartapetyan, G. E. Limberger by hybridizing the varieties "Wellsi" and "Bessemyanka Michurinskaya"(Parent varieties:" Skryzhapel "and" Bessemyanka Komsinskaya ") in 1951. The Studencheskoe apple variety was sent to the state variety test in 1974, it was zoned in 1989 in the Central Black Earth Region.

The apple-tree Student is a medium-sized tree, its crown is rounded. The coloration of the trunk and main branches is gray. The main branches are located straight and at an angle.
Shoots are short, medium in thickness, reddish-brown in color, round in cross section, moderately pubescent. There are many lentils, they are of medium size, located at the height of the surface. The internodes are shortened. The buds are pressed against the shoot, red-brown in color, in the form of a cone. Fruits are formed mainly on simple and complex ringlets of annual shoots. The leaves are large, elongated, their ends are sharp, directed to the side, the leaves are folded along the main vein, they are leathery, with wrinkles, there is abundant pubescence below. The petiole is medium in size, the stipules are lanceolate and large.

The fruits of the Studencheskoe apple tree are above average in size, of the same size, slightly flat, round, the surface is smooth, not ribbed, the sides are the same. The peel is thickened. The main coloration is greenish, the integumentary color is strong, on the larger surface of the fruit, it is represented by a bright, blurred blush of a red-raspberry color along blurred streaks with a bloom of bluish color. The fruit stem is medium in length and thickness, the funnel is medium in size, has a slight rustiness. The dish is large, wide, with corrugation at the base of the sepals. The cup is half open. The tube under the cup is deepened, in the form of a cone. The seed chambers are closed. The grains are few in number, medium in size, light brown in color.
The inner content is light green, fine grain, delicate, sweet-sour taste.
Fruits contain: sugars (10.3%, 8.1-13.2%), titratable acids (0.75%, 0.56% -0.98%), tannins (seventy two mg per hundred grams, forty five to ninety six mg per hundred grams), ascorbic acid (12.6 mg per hundred grams, 9.3-13.5 mg per hundred grams), P-active substances (0.31 mg per hundred grams, 0.25-0.4 mg per hundred grams), pectin substances (8.9%, 4.3-12.7% on dry weight) ...

The variety is late winter. The fruits ripen in the last days of September and are stored until May 15.
The culture is distinguished by its early maturity. The grafted seedlings begin to bear fruit from the fifth year. In some years, the flowering of seedlings occurs in nurseries, their fruiting begins from 2 years after planting in the garden.
In terms of resistance to winter, it is slightly worse than the Antonovka ordinary variety, however, it withstood the severe frosts of 1978-79 tolerably. It has immunity to scab, in the years of mass incidence it is slightly damaged.
