This variety was bred at the Mikhail Afanasyevich Lisavenko Research Institute of Horticulture in Siberia; a whole team of scientists, including I.P. Kalinina, T.F.Kornienko, N.I.Dorokhina and G.V. Chulina, worked on its breeding. The Ranetka Ermolaeva variety was pollinated with a mixture of pollen of several varieties: Pepin saffron, Pepinka Lithuanian, Wellsi and Pepin Chernenko. The apple variety Stroainaya has been tested on the territory of Siberia for ten years and, since 2004, has been zoned. The best results are achieved by gardeners, through whose efforts the Slender apple tree is grown in the Altai, Tyumen, Orenburg, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Tomsk regions.

Apple trees of the Slender variety are trees of medium height with a very dense crown of a pyramidal shape. There are few main branches forming the "skeleton" of a tree, but they are very powerful. The fruits are tied on fruits and ringlets.

The pubescent straight shoots are brown. Bright green oval leaf plates with long petioles have pubescence on the dorsum.
Fruiting begins in the fourth or fifth year. In some cases, the ovaries may appear earlier, but it is recommended to remove them, otherwise the tree will not be able to get strong enough and in the future this can lead to a decrease in yield.
