The apple tree Sovkhoznoye was bred at the Saratov State Agrarian University named after NI Vavilov and on the basis of an experimental gardening station in Saratov by hybridizing the varieties "Welsey" and "Renet Volzhsky". The authors are: G. V. Kondratieva, I. K. Fomina. The culture was sent for test work in 1997 to the Volga region and the Center of Russia. The apple variety Sovkhoznoye is grown on farms, in amateur garden plots and on large plantations in the Saratov and Volgograd regions.
