The apple tree by Renet Gromova is a winter variety of the apple tree, it was bred at the scientific selection station of the Saratov region. A crossing of the Renet bergamotny and Mekintosh varieties was carried out. The authors include G. Kondratyev and K. Fomin.
After all the checks, the Renet Gromova apple variety was included in the state register of Central Russia, after which it became widespread in neighboring regions.

The apple tree of the Renet Gromova variety is medium-sized, growing up to 3-4 meters in height. In adulthood, the tree has a dense crown, shaped like a pyramid. The branches are located close to each other. The trunk and branches are gray-brown in color, with peeling. The shoot of the Renet Gromova apple tree is long, even, without bends, burgundy in color, with a large number of lentils. The buds are located close to the shoot, they are white, conical in shape. The foliage is large, oval in shape, on one side the edge is strongly elongated and pointed. Jagging is observed along the edges.
During the flowering period, an average number of flowers appears on Renet Gromov's apple tree, which are later formed into fruits. The flowers are dense, small in size, yellow-white in color.

Apples of the Renet Gromova variety are medium in size, usually about 160 grams is the mass of the fruit. The shape resembles a ball with convex sides. The rind is thick, dense, with a slight golden sheen. At full maturity, the fruits are yellow-orange in color, sometimes a raspberry blush is present. The first fruiting occurs 4 years after planting. The yield of Renet Gromov's apple tree is high, on average about 190 centners per hectare.
