The apple tree of Memory Khitrovo is a winter tree, it boasts a good level of resistance to some diseases, obtained at the All-Russian Research Institute of Breeding of Fruit Crops by planting seed "or18t13" and free pollination in 1981, thanks to the work of a group of specialists in breeding E.N.Sedov, Z M. Serov, V. V. Zhdanov, E. A. Dolmatov, A. N. Borodina and V. I. Pavlyuk.

The apple tree in Memory of Khitrovo passed state tests in 2001 and was entered into the state register of breeding achievements in 2002.

The Apple tree of Memory Khitrovo is a tree of ordinary size, with accelerated growth rates, the crown is in the form of a regular circle, the density is estimated as average. The main branches extend from the trunk at an angle, approximately ninety degrees. Usually, the harvest is laid on complex and simple ringlets.

Branches are of ordinary size, grow straight, faceted in cross section, brown color, there is some pubescence. Lentils are small in size, available in small quantities. The pulp of the fruit of the apple-tree Memory Khitrovo is snow-white, creamy, the density is estimated as average, it is filled with juice, it tastes sour and sweet at the same time, the aroma is not pronounced. The tasters rated the taste of the crop at four and a half points on a five-point scale. The fruits contain:
