In this article, we will consider one of the late-ripening summer varieties of apple trees - the Miasskoye apple tree, recommended for growing in the climatic zone of the Urals.
Apple variety Miasskoye was obtained at the South Ural Research Institute of Fruit and Potato Growing, by breeding Cinnamon apple with the Ural ribbed. The variety was bred by scientists M.A.Mazunin and P.A.Zhavoronkov. The variety became widespread, respectively, in the Ural region.

Apple-tree Miass has a crown in the form of a rounded pyramid. The color of the bark on the main branches and on the trunk is brown, the fruits ripen on all branches, including those that grew last year. The branches themselves are not thick, the foliage is above average in size, the edges are finely toothed, there is a slight pubescence. The color of the leaves is green.
The Miass apple tree blooms in a cream shade with flowers resembling a deep bowl in shape. The pistils of flowers are of medium length, not pubescent, their stigmas are longer than the anthers.
The most suitable pollinating varieties for the Miasskoe apple variety will be Summer striped, Prizovoe, Nadezhda.
The first harvests appear on the apple tree 5-6 years after planting the grafted seedling. At the beginning of the life cycle, trees bear fruit regularly, and then moderate periodicity can be traced in fruiting.
The average yield per apple tree is 75 kg.
The Miasskoye apple variety has a high resistance to low winter temperatures, and is also moderately resistant to scab damage.

Juice content in Miass apples is average, sweet and sour taste, very pleasant. It should be noted that during periods of dry summer, the taste of apples is noticeably reduced. The consistency of the pulp is coarse, small fibers are felt.
The chemical composition of Miass apples is as follows: 13.6% soluble solids, 9.9% sugar, 0.7% titratable acids, 29 mg / 100 g of ascorbic acid.
