The Apple-tree Krasa Steppe was bred on the territory of Novosibirsk at the experimental gardening station named after V.I. I. V. Michurin. The authors of the new grade were A.A. Khristo, R. A. Bykova, N. E. Yurieva. Ranetku Stable was pollinated with the composition of a mixture of pollen of varieties of large-fruited formation. Until the moment of pollination, the variety was called Sibiryachka. In the region of Western Siberia, a fruit-growing zone, the Krasa Steppe apple variety was included in the list of the register. You can meet the variety mainly in industrial gardens in the regions of Novosibirsk and Kemerovo.

Apple trees of the Young steppe beauty form an oval crown type. With age, the crown becomes more and more thickened, and the ovality in forms becomes more rounded. The bark of the trunk, as well as the main branches, is brown with a greenish tint. The direction of growth of the main branches relative to the trunk is formed at an angle, the value of which is slightly more than 45 degrees.
The upright shoots of the Krasa Steppe apple variety are of medium size, brown, pubescence on the surface of the shoot is average. The internodes are slightly elongated, with small, convex lentils. The Krasa Steppe apple tree forms fruits of average weight, about 16 grams, with the maximum observance of all the rules of agricultural technology, actual care of fruit trees and an appropriate growing climate, the fruit reaches a weight of 20 grams. Formation of an apple with a flattened-rounded appearance, weakened ribbing on the surface. The main color is yellow, the cover color is red, solid type. A smallish funnel, rustiness of which is weakened, of a gentle tone. The stalks are thin, but elongated. Instead of saucers, there are medium-sized pearls. Closed cup, does not fall off.
The cream-colored apple pulp of the Krasa Steppe variety has a sweet, moderately sour taste, quite juicy content. During the period when the drought has a prolonged period, a clear bitterness is noted in the taste of the fruit.
Full ripening of fruits occurs in a later summer period, when stored in a refrigerator, the fruits retain all their varietal characteristics for almost three months.
A little about the chemical composition of fruits: sugars make up up to 12.6% of the mass, titratable acids are only up to 1.4%, the amount of ascorbic acid is 10.2 mg per 100 grams of product, catechins are 448 mg per 100 grams of fruits. This variety has a small peculiarity, the yield of juice when processing fruits is a very high percentage, almost 68%.
Apple-tree Krasa steppe belongs to the early-growing varieties. Already for 4 years, after direct planting in a permanent place of growth, fruit trees bring their first, full-fledged harvest. If we consider the statistics of industrial cultivation, then the yield obtained in the following figures is up to 90 centners from each hectare of the planting area. The yield frequency is pronounced, average. Increased resistance to winter cold. The percentage of self-fertility varies from 11.4% to 37.1% every year.The apples of this variety have excellent resistance to scab disease, the leaf cover of the tree has a very weak possibility of being affected by such a disease. The main direction in the use of the fruits of this variety is mechanical processing.
