Water pine: description
Photo of common pine
Most often, this short plant grows on the banks of small bodies of water, such as shallow ponds and streams. It is classified as a semi-submerged perennial.
The rhizome of the common water pine is creeping and underground. Stems grow from the root collar. They are completely straight and do not branch at all. The leaves of the waterpine are significantly elongated. They are incredibly densely located on the stem, so that it becomes almost impossible to see it. This plant is also grown as a home ornamental crop. In the gardens, the most suitable place for her would be a small pond or spring. It is also possible to grow in an aquarium, but in this case the common pine is grown exclusively as annual.
