Vyshnya Vuzovskaya belongs to varieties that are ready to harvest quickly enough. The first berries can be seen already 3 years after planting the seedling.
However, it must be borne in mind that a pollinator is required for the Vuzovskaya cherry variety to obtain a harvest. The most suitable variety for this would be Novoseletskaya cherry, but other varieties of steppe cherries are also suitable.
The Vuzovskaya cherry tree itself has a small height, only 1.5 m and an oval spreading, not too dense crown, reaching almost 2 meters in diameter. The branches of this cherry are thin, slightly sinuous, and have a red tint. Lentils are grayish, of medium size, there are a lot of them. Fruiting occurs on the branches of the last year, and to some extent on the bouquet branches. The color of the bark on the main branches is gray, it has an even structure without roughness.
The cherry foliage of the Vuzovskaya variety is medium-sized, has an oval, elongated shape, slightly concave. The tip of the leaf is sharp, the edges are finely toothed, the stipules are short, they have two glands. A distinctive feature of Vuzovskaya cherry is that in autumn the leaves turn a rich yellow color, and not brown-brown, like other varieties of steppe cherry.
The cherry blossoms are white, clustered in rose-like buds of medium size. One bud contains 2 flowers on average.
Vuzovskaya cherry saplings, as a rule, take root well, they should be planted based on the 4 per 1m scheme.
The Vuzovskaya cherry variety has an average winter hardiness, plantings can partially freeze at a temperature of -40 ° C.
