Cherry Shakirovskaya: variety description and characteristics
Cherry Shakirovskaya was bred by breeding three known varieties from crossing: Zakharovskaya, Large-fruited No. 6, Generous. Originality in the breeding rights belongs to the Tatar Research Institute of Agriculture. The authors of Shakirovskaya cherry became L. A. Sevastyanova, V. A. Naumov. In the State Register, the bred variety was included in the lists in 1997 on the territory of the Middle Volga and Ural regions.
Distinctively dwarf growth turned out to be a shrub, with a crown in the shape of a circle with an average degree of thickening, a very strong leaf cover, mainly silvery color of a plant that has reached full maturity. Small kidney, medium size, vegetative direction, the kidney forms a cone-shaped shape. Generative buds are ovoid. A slight deviation of the kidneys during development from the developing shoot. Cherry leaf plates of the Shakirovskaya variety form a narrowed oval, green in color, the presence of anthocyanin is not observed. The top of the leaves is very sharply pointed, at the base there is the same slight pointedness. Small-crested type serration-framing of leaves along the edge.

Shiny plating of plates, flat development. The number of small flowers forming an inflorescence does not exceed 3 pieces. The petals of each flower have a free arrangement. Predominantly white petals. Mixed flowering and fruiting of Shakirovskaya cherry
Each berry does not exceed 4.8 grams in weight with a height of 22 mm and a width of up to 20 mm, heart-shaped, small-sized funnel formed, circular shape, slightly narrow-round towards the top. The pulp and the fruit of the Shakirovskaya cherry itself are colored red, a little darkish tint. The juice is of the same red tone. The average density of the berry does not exceed 40 mm, the length of the finely formed stalk. Narrow-ovoid bone, with a mass of 0.2 grams, which is only up to 4.2% of the total mass of the fetus. At the base of cherries of the Shakirovskaya variety, the stone has a narrow roundness with a pointed top, painted with a lightened brown color. According to the degree of separation of the bone from the pulp, the average indicators were revealed.
Sufficiently marketable external indicator of fruit, average quality fruit juiciness, sweet and sour taste of the berry, which is a good indicator for Shakirovskaya cherry. When the berry is detached from the stalk, there is a certain feature - an almost insignificant part of the fruit is damaged, at the base of the funnel. It can be emphasized that the Shakirovskaya cherry variety can be grown only on the territory of private plots where the harvest is done manually, since the berries are not adapted for the mechanical method of harvesting, the berry's resistance to cracks during picking is very weakened. The cherry variety Shakirovskaya itself is universal in application. The chemical composition of the fruit: 17% is the dry matter, 1.3% is the composition of free acids, the share of sugar is 10%, vitamin C is up to 14.2 mg for every 100 grams of the product.
Features of the Shakirovskaya cherry variety
Mass flowering of Shakirovskaya cherry fruit trees occurs mainly in the second half of May, the variety is endowed with an early average ripeness with a uniform degree of fruit ripeness. Also, a very early age of the Shakirovskaya cherry tree was noted when it entered full fruiting, already 2-3 years after direct planting on the site. The maximum age of a plant, while maintaining reproductive functions, is up to 17 years. The variety belongs to the self-fertile species. The harvesting rate for industrial cultivation is up to 10 tons per hectare of land. Secondary shoots and the tree itself perfectly tolerate the winter cold. The generative bud of Shakirovskaya cherry poorly tolerates frost, it is also possible to damage inflorescences in the spring with the manifestation of recurrent frost. The average indicator is the resistance of the shrub to damage by coccomycosis and the pest-cherry slimy sawfly. Distinctive resistance to the disease - gummosis (gum disease). The production value of the berries deserves a good assessment. The variety can be used as a material for breeding work, as well as for growing on an industrial scale and on the territory of a summer cottage.
