Cherry Lyubimitsa was bred by R.V. Korneev and L.K. Zhukova at the Dubovsky strong point. Different varieties of cherries were pollinated with Zhukovsky mixture to create a new species. It was added to the state register in 1993.

- The leaves of the cherry variety Lyubimitsa are oval, not very large, emerald in color with a light edging. Smooth along the edges, but with small spiny notches. The leaf plate is smooth, arched, curls downward, round in the middle, and slightly pointed towards the top.
