Cherry Lada was bred on the basis of the Rossoshansk zonal experimental gardening station. The author of the variety is A. Ya. Voronchikhina. Cherry varieties Lada were obtained by hybridization of varieties "Zhukovskaya"And" Victory ". Cherry Lada was sent for state tests in 1995, zoned in the Central Black Earth Region. In garden plots, the variety has so far spread to a weak extent.
