This variety is the result of selection work, crossing such varieties of cherries and sweet cherries as "Samsonovka", as well as a mixture of pollen. The authors of the Krasnodarskaya sweet cherry variety are I.M.Kirichek and M.A.Kolesnikov. This cherry variety is intended for cultivation in special areas, it has been approved for industrial use in the North Caucasus region since 2002.
