Kirina cherry was obtained on the basis of the Zonal Research Institute of Horticulture and Viticulture in the North Caucasus. Cherry is obtained by hybridization of varieties "111-26" and "Ramon Oliva". The culture has been listed in the state register since 2006, it is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus.

The fruits of the Kirin cherry variety are large, weighing four and a half to five grams, flat, rounded, dark red in color. The inner content is juicy, moderately dense, the taste is good, sweet and sour. The place of separation from the fruit stem is dry. Berries contain vitamin C (eleven mg per hundred grams), P-active compounds (486 mg per hundred grams). Products processed from cherries are of high quality.
Features of culture
The Kirina cherry tree begins to bear fruit at the age of four. The yield indicator is seven tons per hectare. Resistance to the winter season is at a fairly high level. The variety has immunity to moniliosis and moderate resistance to coccomycosis.
