The authors of the cherry varieties Banquetnaya are A.F. Kolesnikova, E.N. Dzhigadlo, A.A. Gulyaeva, Z.E. Ozhereleva. The new variety has been undergoing state tests since 1997 and is recommended for experimental cultivation in the Central and Central Black Earth regions, as well as in the Middle Volga region.
