Content:
Cherry Alyaevskaya was obtained as a result of crossing "Polzhira" and "Late pink" in the Tatarstan Research Institute of Agriculture. The authorship belongs to a duet of scientists consisting of L.A. Sevastyanova and V.A. Naumov. Since 1994, the Alyaevskaya cherry variety has been accepted for state variety testing and is recommended for cultivation in the Central, Middle Volga and Volga-Vyatka regions, as well as in the Urals.
When choosing plants for your garden, you should first of all build on the climatic characteristics of your region, and only then consider the taste of the fruit, yield and resistance of the tree to various diseases. In this article, we will talk in more detail about the Alyaevskaya cherry variety.

Light red berries are rather small, their average weight is 3-4 grams 3.6 g. Juicy pulp of berries is light red, medium density. The taste is sweet-sour, with some astringency; experts characterize it as satisfactory or mediocre.

But if you need a tree that consistently gives a good harvest, is unpretentious to care for and is frost-resistant enough, then you should opt for the Alyaevskaya cherry variety. You will need to provide the tree with minimal maintenance - timely pruning and preventive treatment before flowering, in order to prevent the appearance of pests and reduce the likelihood of developing diseases.Small, but tasty, healthy and fragrant Alyaevskaya cherries are perfect for making jam, compote and other homemade preparations; they can be dried or frozen for use in the winter months.
