Verbena Bonarskaya: cultivation and sowing
To improve the germination of Bonarskaya verbena seeds at the end of February, I leave them in the refrigerator for several days wrapped in a damp cloth. I sow in a mixture of equal parts of sand and peat. I steam the substrate in advance in a water bath or warm it up in the oven, then water it and leave it for several days for the development of microorganisms. In early March, I sprinkle the seeds of the perennial Bonarskaya verbena on the soil surface and sprinkle them a little on top. I moisten it with a spray bottle, cover it with a transparent film and put it in a warm place. I make sure that the top layer is wet, but I spray it in moderation. Verbena seeds Bonarskaya Lilac rain are tough-growing and germinate no earlier than in 10-15 days. After that I remove the shelter, and transfer the container to a lighted place. Until the real leaves appear, the plants can be fed a couple of times with "Kornevin" (according to the instructions). In a month, the seedlings of the perennial verbena Bonar Lilac rain should have two true leaves - it's time to dive into separate cups. I use the same soil for planting, adding some humus (compost) and a little ash. In the first two or three days I shade the plants, and after a week I harden them, leaving them on the balcony for a day. I pinch the tops over the third pair of true leaves.
