Cyperus (Papyrus)
Content:
Cyperus Is an evergreen herb that belongs to the large sedge family. But, one way or another, cyperus has many other names, sometimes it is called a rash, some call it papyrus or sitovnik - but it is worth remembering that this is one and the same plant with its own characteristics, characteristics and interesting features. Due to its rather spectacular appearance, cyperus can attract attention to itself, and it also serves to decorate some corners not only in the house, but also in office premises, in kindergartens, and public places. Thanks to cyperus, it is possible to organize abundant green thickets on the terrace, loggia or balcony, which look great, give an incredible appearance to any room, for which, in principle, it is appreciated.
In addition, cyperus has one more feature, which lies precisely in the fact that it can calmly humidify even the driest air, while it is also called a natural vacuum cleaner, because cyperus can not only humidify this air, but also effectively purify ... In this article, we will dwell in more detail on what cyperus is, how to grow it at home, indoors, and also how this plant can be propagated in order to preserve the characteristics of the mother bush, and at the same time recreate a strong and incredibly attractive decorative plant point of view.
Description of the plant and its habitat
Cyperus is a plant native to Madagascar, and it also grew very actively in the tropical forests of Africa. But gradually the plant began to be cultivated in other regions and on other continents - in America and Eurasia, and in particular, cyperus could often be found in coastal areas, in the immediate vicinity of water, and even in the water itself. Cyperus was brought to Europe only in the 18th century, but if we talk about when the plant began to grow indoors, it happened only in the 80s of the last century, but even for such a short period of time, the plant gained immense popularity and became incredibly popular ... Basically, Cyperus gained popularity due to the fact that its appearance is incredibly graceful and unique, as well as due to the fact that this plant is unpretentious, if we talk about caring activities. Well, isn't this the dream of any gardener and florist who strives to grow exotic and picky plants that will have incredibly attractive external features and characteristics. In Russia, several close relatives of the cyperus grow - these are reeds, sedges and sits, which have similar features and characteristics.
In its natural habitat, the plant can reach a height of almost five meters. Due to its abundance and height, the plant forms very dense thickets. But at home, the plant grows to more modest indicators - from fifty centimeters to one meter, and it is easier to care for it. The root system is located almost at the very surface of the soil, while the root itself is very long and creeping. Sometimes, instead of a root, only shoots in the form of a spindle can grow, which just perform the function of the root system and extract useful substances from the soil. But it should be borne in mind that the root type directly depends on which species the given plant belongs to.This is especially worth considering in order to select a soil mixture for planting a particular plant. If the florist has decided to plant cyperus indoors, then in this case those species that have a short root system are perfect. Also, cyperus takes root well in containers in the form of flowerpots and pots, the plant will take root perfectly in this case and will give some decorative features of its appearance.
The stems of the cepirus are elongated, they are painted in a bright green hue, they can bloom quite decoratively. Over time, the stems can noticeably age, and this is evidenced by the fact that they gradually turn yellow and even die off, so they should be removed in time so that they not only do not spoil the appearance, but also do not increase the risk of developing various diseases. In place of the stems that have been removed, new, younger stems will grow, which will improve the appearance of the plant. The tops of the stems are decorated with rosettes, which consist of whorled and thin leaves, which are also painted in a bright green, very juicy and attractive shade. The common leaves of the plant have a linear shape, they open in the form of umbrellas, which looks very decorative. In this case, the leaves can differ from each other in terms of length, and the leaves are distributed quite unevenly. Hence, it turns out that peculiar rays of the sun are formed, due to which the plant looks very voluminous and attractive. The plant is also colored heterogeneously, it can be dark green, there are light green shades of plantings, and sometimes varieties and species are found, the leaves of which are generally painted in two colors, and not in one. You can also notice that white or brown strokes are formed on the leaves, which can also be a feature of some species and varieties of cyperus.
Cyperus is a blooming crop, so it is worth paying attention to some of the peculiarities of flowering. The peduncles themselves have the shape of trihedrons, they are straight, directed upwards, but at the same time they are quite flexible, so even if the plant is located under strong wind pressure, its branches will definitely not break off. Cyperus flowers are inconspicuous, do not differ in brightness or decorativeness, can be located singly, and can be collected in small inflorescences - rosettes. They are painted in several colors - there are pale green colors, light brown and cream shades of colors. Most often, you can see flowering in the summer, usually it occurs in June-July, but there are also varieties that can bloom throughout the summer season, until the onset of autumn, to its middle. At the same time, as we have already noted, the flowers of Cyperus are rather inconspicuous, therefore, some growers do not evaluate them at all by any parameters, although there are very attractive flowers that become part of the landscape. After flowering is complete, small fruits appear in the place of flowers in the form of nuts and spikelets. They can be painted in a brown shade, and pollination is carried out mainly due to gusts of wind, the pollen is small. It can very quickly spread from one plant to another with the help of gusts of wind, rarely, but it happens that pollen is spread from one planting to another due to pollinating insects - bees, bumblebees, wasps.
Cyperus belongs to moisture-loving crops, and it is very often used to decorate aquariums or artificial waterfalls. In addition, gardeners now find it fashionable to have winter water gardens, and they are also considered an excellent environment in order to use Cyperus to decorate them. At home, Cyperus also looks very decorative - it can really decorate any area and give it an exotic look.Since Cyperus prefers to grow in an aquatic environment, it can also evaporate a lot of moisture. Thanks to this, the room where the cyperus is located is saturated with moisture, which has a fairly good effect on neighboring plants, especially those that also prefer to live in a humid environment. In general, I would like to note that thanks to Cyperus, you can create a very favorable indoor microclimate. Not so long ago, Cyperus was listed in the Red Book, as it is believed that it is an endangered species that needs to be preserved.
In southern Africa, rhizomes of cyperus are very popular, but far from in gardening, but in the food sector - they are very fond of adding them to the first and second courses, as ingredients in salads, and also drinks are brewed from the rhizomes of cyperus. In general, Cyperus also has some medicinal properties. Decoctions from leaves and stems perfectly save with severe headaches, and also normalize a person's sleep, relieving him of certain nervous experiences and stresses. If you drink the broth on an empty stomach, then the drink will help not only normalize blood pressure, but also accelerate metabolic processes in the body. As a result - an improvement in the general condition, as well as weight loss, especially for those who are just striving to lose those extra pounds in the near future and as soon as possible. Cyperus also helps to improve vision, components such as honey can be added to it, although initially the broth is very pleasant to taste, there is no pronounced bitterness or astringency, only a fresh herbaceous aroma that pleases both an adult and a small child. But, again, before use, it is worth consulting with specialists and doctors, because the body may not accept this plant, and adverse allergic reactions or exacerbations may develop, which have an extremely negative effect on the general condition of a person.
Due to the fact that the plant is quite creeping, and can grow and develop very quickly, some consider it a weed. In particular, this is adhered to in the homeland of the plant. When cultivated plants grow, the cyperus will certainly fall out, as it can interfere with other crops. But this is only in his homeland - various types and varieties of plants are popular in our country, and we will talk about them in more detail in the next part of our article.
Types and varieties of plants
Cyperus is a fairly large genus, which includes about six hundred different plant species, and you can find them literally all over the world. But if we talk specifically about indoor floriculture, then only some of the available varieties are cultivated here, which are more adapted to this. In this article, we will tell you about the most popular indoor specimens, which just belong to the Cyperus family, and which lend themselves well to agricultural technology and care, even by those flower growers who do not have special experience in this activity.
The first plant we will look at in this article is papyrus. It is very common in swampy areas, especially in Egypt and Ethiopia. The plant can reach a height of about three meters, the stem of the plant is very strong, erect. At the very end of the stem is a dense whorl, from which a large number of leaves hang. From the sinuses, you can see thin pedicels, and on them - multi-flowered inflorescences that look very interesting and decorative. In culture, due to the fact that the papyrus is very large, it can be grown either in tubs or in greenhouses, since the plant also needs enough space. In general, papyrus is not very whimsical, and therefore it is very popular among gardeners, especially those who do not have much experience in growing this crop.
Helfer - the second plant, which is also of great interest to us. This type of cyperus differs in that its stems are not particularly high, usually reaching only half a meter. Helfer grows mainly in water, so it is best cultivated in aquariums and polydariums. Who does not know what a polydarium is - it is a transparent reservoir, which is distinguished by an artificial semi-aquatic habitat, and any aquatic, marsh or coastal plant can be contained in polydariums, and this is its peculiarity and advantage. On the street, helpers are usually used to carry out landscaping of decorative ponds. It should also be borne in mind that the helfera is very picky about the composition of the substrate - it must be slightly acidic, so the gardener should take care to create the most comfortable conditions for planting this variety of cyperus.
Zumula - Another species of Cyperus, which in some way has many similarities with the Cyperus helfera. It looks like a bunch of blades of grass that grow directly from well-moistened soil. At the same time, the leaves a little resemble a small decorative palm, but it grows in a pot. The flower looks quite impressive and attractive, zumula reproduces very well using seed material, which can be purchased at any store for gardeners and florists. But it should be borne in mind that zumula can be poisonous, especially for pets, so you should not grow it in close proximity to these inhabitants.
Umbrella Cyperus (in other words, it is also called alternate-leaved cyperus). In indoor conditions, this plant is considered the most common, but in natural conditions, the Umbellifera cyperus grows in Madagascar territories, especially along the banks of swampy bodies of water and lakes, rivers. In height, the umbrella cyperus can reach 170 centimeters, the stem has several edges, is erect, an umbrella crown is formed at the top, which includes a number of narrow leaves. Most of all, in shape, they resemble straps that hang directly from the top of the stem. The length of the leaves varies from 25 to 30 centimeters, flowers can form in their axils, which are usually not located alone, but in inflorescences that resemble small panicles. At the same time, the umbrella cyperus can perfectly reproduce by seeds and umbrellas, as well as by dividing the bush - the gardener chooses the method in accordance with how he does it best. The umbrella cyperus has its own varieties, which also differ from each other:
— cyperus grasilis - this variety differs in that it is very compact, and the leaves of the plant are very narrow
— cyperus variegatus - leaves and stems stand out due to their specific white shade, and there are also plants with green leaf plates, which at the same time have bright white stripes
— cyperus sprawling - This variety is a miniature copy of the marsh palm. This species is unambiguously the lowest among all other varieties of cyperus, the height of the plant varies from forty to ninety centimeters. The plant's stems are not numerous, but at the same time the plant has a large number of long and wide leaves, which are located in the root part of the plant, and due to this, the bush looks especially magnificent and pleasant. The leaves are collected in umbrellas, which include from six to twelve leaves, the plant is not at all capricious and unpretentious in care, but it should be borne in mind that the plant needs constant and high humidity, so the gardener should try to create for a plant similar conditions and increase its decorative features and characteristics. Of course, in order for the plant to feel best, it needs care, especially if we are talking about home conditions.
Growing
Tsiperus is not so difficult to grow indoors, and you can also very quickly learn how to do it really right, but it depends on the wishes of the gardener, and we will also give a lot of information about this, so that it is easier for the plant to navigate the caring aspects and subtleties. Let's start with what the location of the plant should be, as well as the lighting.
Tsiperus is a culture that does not react very positively to an oversupply of lighting. Basically, this plant prefers to be placed in shaded areas, near artificial reservoirs, ponds or aquariums. In this case, the plant will feel most comfortable, fill the room with noticeable freshness, cleanse the room from dusty stagnation, which does not in the best way affect not only the state of other plants, but also the state of the person himself. But the plant is actively growing not in full shade, but not far from direct sunlight and diffused light. If the gardener has such an opportunity, then he can take the plant out into the open air, but this should be done only in the summer, when the air temperature is stable and positive. In winter, ciperus is a wonderful decoration for a person's home, and in summer it can become a curiosity in a personal plot. If there is a pond or an artificial reservoir on the site, then this affects the plant even better, because near a pond or reservoir, cyperus will feel like in its natural habitat. In this case, the pots or containers in which the flowers are located can be installed directly into the water, and you can also dig into the soil near a pond or artificial reservoir, so that the plant feels most comfortable.
In winter, the plant may experience a lack of natural light, since the daylight hours are short. Therefore, the gardener is required to create additional artificial lighting with the help of phytolamps in order to supplement the illumination of the plant, and so that the daylight hours even at this time are at least 14 hours. An oriental or western arrangement on windowsills is also great for a flower. On the south side, a pot with a plant can also be installed, but do this as far as possible from the window so that hard sunlight does not fall on the plant, and so that the illumination is more diffused.
Care
Cyperus is a wonderful plant that loves fresh air very much. But at the same time, he cannot be in a room with drafts or strong gusts of wind. The room where the cyperus is located should be regularly ventilated, and then the gardener will be able to notice that the plant begins to flutter slightly under a light wind, and this looks really great. But at the same time, one should not get carried away with the contemplation of a beautiful and unusual type of plant, since it still needs protection from too pronounced drafts and gusts of wind, and one should not forget about this.
Let's talk about a comfortable air temperature - in the summer, the plant perfectly tolerates the usual temperature, room temperature - from 20 to 25 degrees, not lower and not higher. If suddenly you notice an increase in temperature, then the room where the plant is located is recommended to be ventilated as often as possible. It is also worth spraying the flower so that dry air currents do not harm it. An excellent solution would be to take the container with the plant to fresh air - to the terrace or balcony, loggia, or directly to the garden, otherwise too much dryness and heat can have a very negative effect on the general condition of the plant, as well as harm its external characteristics, make the plant less attractive and decorative. If cyperus grows in natural, wild conditions, then in winter it can, in principle, tolerate a drop in temperatures, if, of course, it is short-lived, and not protracted. But if the plant is in indoor conditions, then in no case should the thermometer's column be allowed to fall below 14 degrees, otherwise this will lead to the death of the plant from the fact that it simply froze over. It should also be remembered that in winter, the room should be ventilated, but at the same time, the pots and containers with the plant should be removed as far as possible from drafts, and windows or vents should not be left open, otherwise this will lead to the inevitable death of cyperus. Which still always needs a gardener to look after him and select caring procedures in accordance with the characteristics of the climate, temperature regime and season.
The plant is demanding for high air humidity, and the same applies to the level of soil moisture. Humidity at the level of 65-75% for cyperus is considered ideal, but there are indoor species that are not very welcoming to this level, so a gardener or florist should be more careful about this, and carefully select neighbors for cyperus that will grow on the same the windowsill itself. High humidity can be maintained manually, for this it is worth spraying the flower from a spray bottle, and you can also periodically bathe the flower right under the shower, it will be saturated with the necessary moisture for several weeks in advance. Also, thanks to water procedures, all dust and any pollution can be removed from the leafy part of the plant. Also, the humidity level can be maintained by placing containers and vessels filled with water in the room. In winter, when appliances designed to heat the room are working in the rooms, the plant pot must be placed away from these appliances, and the leafy part should be regularly sprayed with water. A flower grower should look closely at the general condition of the plant in order to understand how it feels, what it lacks. For example, the leaves of a plant will begin to darken and dry, which will just indicate that the plant needs moisture, and that the room is very dry.
The plant owes its moisture-loving nature to the fact that it originally grew in swamps and was also located close to the banks of rivers, lakes and reservoirs. If the plant lacks watering, then the leaf blades will immediately begin to dry and darken. In order for the soil in the pot to be constantly wet, the flower should be watered daily. Do not worry about the fact that the root system will rot from waterlogging and an excess of water, since the soil must literally be constantly moistened. Cyperus also feels itself in natural conditions, since tropical rains and downpours moisturize the plant, but thanks to the scorching sun, excess moisture gradually evaporates, which plays a very important role in the growth, development of planting, as well as in its general condition and decorativeness. Root rot can form, but only if the air temperature in the room has dropped too sharply. In this case, the florist should independently adjust the temperature in the room, and until he does this, it is recommended to drain the excess water that accumulates in the pan.
It is also possible to maintain a constant humidity by doing so-called bottom watering through a sump. It is from there that the root system will be saturated with the required amount of moisture and will feel as comfortable as possible. It is even better to take the deepest possible pan so that the water level reaches about the middle of the pot, but this procedure is not necessary. Of course, some growers are also interested in how to organize watering of cyperus in the winter. When the temperature in the room where the plant is located gradually decreases, the flower will absorb less moisture.Watering, in principle, should be reduced, the plant is pulled out of a pan filled with water, but you should still carefully monitor that the soil in the pot does not dry out. For watering, it is worth using settled water at room temperature. But it is best to take rain or melt water, since they are natural in composition, and this is really very important for such a plant. Also, the gardener should use some tricks and tricks in order to maintain the flower without long watering. A certain amount of hydrogel can be added to the soil, which softens. It is prepared from special polymer components, and they are specifically designed to retain moisture in the soil.
Tsiperus responds with special gratitude to fertilizers and fertilizing, especially if they are applied during the growing season - this time falls from the very beginning of spring until the onset of autumn. Fertilizers must be complex, they must contain potassium and phosphorus, nitrogen supplements, which are incredibly useful for both underground and aboveground parts of the plant. You can also purchase fertilizers in liquid form, which are intended for decorative and deciduous indoor plants. Fertilizers are sold at any nursery or gardening store. Top dressing is organized with a frequency of 2-3 times a month, but again it is worth focusing on the general condition of the plant, since cyperus can not always adequately respond to those components that the gardener introduces. It is also worth considering some of the rules that govern the application of fertilizers to cyperus:
- it is worth observing the dosages indicated by the manufacturers on the packaging of the drugs. Compositions are of two types - simple and concentrated, the rules for application differ
- if the bushes are still very young, then it is recommended to reduce the dose by about half
- before the solution is introduced, then the soil should be thoroughly moistened so that the root system does not burn and harm it
- in order to additionally avoid burns or some kind of disturbance and damage, the solution should in no case fall on the green part of the plant
- in the spring, it is worth feeding Cyperus with such a fertilizer that will contain a large amount of nitrogen. Thanks to this additive, the formation of green mass will accelerate and, accordingly, the plant will feel much more comfortable. Further, dressings with a high content of potassium and phosphorus are introduced, and this is required so that inflorescences form on the cyperus, and the flowering is lush and spectacular. In principle, if you use these dressings in combination, they will bring incredible benefits to the plant, so you should not save on this in order to get an effective result.
Tsiperus perfectly tolerates the transplantation process, and at the same time, the transplant does not negatively affect either its growth or its flowering. Therefore, in principle, this procedure can be carried out completely at any time of the year. For example, in adulthood, the plant is recommended to be transplanted into a new container if the cyperus has become very crowded in the old pot. But if the gardener strives to ensure that the flower reveals all its decorative features and characteristics, and so that it does not lose them, then extreme cases should not be allowed - in this situation, the cyperus are transplanted literally every year, and you do not have to worry about their general condition at all.
More experienced florists recommend replanting cyperus in early spring or already with the onset of later autumn, at a time when plant growth slows down and it is in a more or less pronounced state of dormancy. Before the plant is transplanted, it is also recommended to provide the plant with a stable indoor temperature and stable air and soil humidity. Then the flower will experience a minimal amount of stress, and this will not negatively affect its general condition. From such trifles, the well-being of whole plantings is formed. The plant is carefully removed from the old container, the old soil can be lightly shaken off. If suddenly the gardener, when examining the root system, notices damaged roots, then they should be cut off with very sharp and disinfected tools, and the cuts are powdered with activated carbon or chalk, which is previously turned into dust. If the grower succeeds, then it is best to clean the root system of the old soil as much as possible, but this should be done very carefully and carefully. Further, the bush is placed in a new container, but the pot should not be too spacious or wide, although in terms of parameters it should be slightly larger than the previous container. New soil is poured very carefully, the roots must not be allowed to be damaged.
Cyperus is a culture that differs in that it has very long roots, and therefore the plant will perfectly adapt to a deeper container. If the plant already has power and strength, then it will give many new shoots and shoots, and the pot should also be impressive in width so that the plant does not feel pressure and feels free, and not constrained. It is worth installing a drainage layer on the very bottom of the container in order to remove excess moisture. The layer can be made of pebbles or expanded clay, crushed brick or sand, the height of the drainage layer is from three to four centimeters. You can also add small pieces of charcoal or brick chips to the drainage, eggshells that have been previously crushed to make the layer more effective.
In general, cyperus is a plant that does not impose special requirements on the composition of the soil and its nutritional value. The plant perfectly takes root in a mixture that consists of peat and sod land, humus, sand, which are mixed with each other in equal amounts. A little dry grass, marsh or river silt can be added to the same soil mixture. Thanks to this, the soil will become breathable, and moisture will be perfectly absorbed by it, which certainly has an excellent effect on the general condition of the plant's root system. You can also purchase a ready-made substrate that is suitable for moisture-loving crops in specialized nurseries or stores. If cyperus grows in the most comfortable conditions for itself, where it is warm enough, light enough, and the amount of moisture suits it perfectly, then it will not have a pronounced state of rest.
If there are many ways that florists use to propagate cyperus. This can be a bush division, a tuberous method, grafting, rosettes or using seed. The choice of the method depends not only on the experience and capabilities of the grower, but also on the conditions in which this culture grows, on the desire of the grower himself to create materials on his own or simply to acquire them. In this article, we will try to consider in more detail all the methods, and you yourself decide which one suits you best.
Dividing a bush is the first method that we will look at in this article. While the gardener starts the next shrub transplant, and if the plant is more than two years old, then it can be divided into several parts in order to propagate. Each part should be fairly developed, it should have at least three strong and viable shoots. A very well sharpened and pre-disinfected tool - a knife - should be used for dividing. Places of cuts should be additionally disinfected, for this they are powdered with ash or crushed charcoal, chalk. It is worth trying to make sure that the earthen lump does not crumble too much, otherwise the small roots may break off along with pieces of soil, and the plant will be damaged. The bushes that will be obtained as a result of division - delenki must be immediately transplanted into prepared containers, and the most comfortable soil composition is used for this. Further, the cuttings are provided with comfortable watering, other favorable conditions, but in the first month after planting, the plant does not even need to be fed, since it must independently adapt to completely new conditions, and this is really incredibly important for its future growth and development.
Reproduction by tubers is the second method. Rhizome tubers are also removed during the next transplant of cyperus - they are separated, each part is used in order to get completely new and very strong plantings. To do this, the tubers are dropped into separate pots, they look after him, their general condition and development.
Cuttings - during the spring cutting of the stems, you can also get a lot of excellent and viable cuttings, which will further give new bushes of Cyperus. In order for everything to work out, it is worth cutting off the very top of the stem, the leaves are cut off about two-thirds of the entire length of the cutting, then the cutting is placed in a container where sand is prepared in advance. The container must be kept warm, the lighting must be good, but diffused. Also, the cuttings should be very well watered with warm, settled water. It is worth remembering that even if the cutting suddenly dries up, young and viable shoots will still appear directly from the soil, which will grow and give completely new plantings, which means that the root system will gradually begin to take shape. After about 30-35 days, the cuttings should be transplanted into a small pot and gradually take care of it as a mature and mature plant.
Reproduction by leaf rosettes - in the event that the cyperus begins to grow very strongly, the gardener will be able to notice that another one, but smaller, is formed right in the center of the leaf rosette. Pinch off the socket, put it for rooting in a container where there is warm sand. The middle of the outlet is also lightly pressed against the sand. Be sure to moisten the sand well, and then the roots will appear very soon. It is worth a little patience and wait until the roots not only take shape, but also get stronger, and then it will already be possible to plant the shoot in the finished substrate in a permanent place.
It is very difficult to grow cyperus from seeds, and this process is very long. Seeds that the florist purchased in a store or nursery should initially be treated with a weak solution of potassium permanganate, and then they are slightly dried. After that, it is worth taking a container with a lid, pouring a substrate into it, which consists of peat and sand. Moisten the soil mixture well. The seeds are laid out on the very surface of the substrate, you should not deepen them, otherwise the probability of germination is noticeably reduced. The lid is closed on top to create a greenhouse effect. If necessary, the lid can sometimes be lifted to ventilate the plantings and monitor the level of their growth and development. It is advisable to place the container in a well-lit place, but at the same time it should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
Cyperus has a very strong immune system, the flower is very resistant to various infections, diseases and attacks from pests. Problems can arise only if the gardener violates agricultural practices and does not provide decent care for the plantings. We can consider some of the possible problems the plant is facing. For example, the leaves become pale, just like the entire coloration of the planting. This is a signal that the plant needs lighting, and if suddenly this happened in winter, then it is worth additionally illuminating the cyperus with phytolamps.
If the leaves turn yellow, then there may be several reasons for this.Firstly, the flower lacks moisture, the leaves will begin to turn yellow, dry, curl and fall off in the room where the flower is located, you should additionally install air humidifiers, and its condition will noticeably improve. Secondly, the soil can become depleted, become less nutritious. This means that the cyperus should be transplanted into a new container with fresh substrate. Thirdly, the pot is too small, the plant has outgrown it, which means that the cyperus should be transplanted into a new, more extensive container. In general, all problems are immediately reflected in the external characteristics of the planting, so it is worth carefully looking at the plant, regulating any problems, and then you can avoid its death or other negative outcomes.
Conclusion
In general, cyperus is a very attractive plant that can decorate not only some room and home, but also cleanse it of negative energy, purify the air, and make the room more favorable for human health. The flower reproduces quite simply, and there are no particular problems that could prevent a gardener from caring for these plantings. Of course, any plant needs attention from the florist, but the cyperus needs this attention in smaller quantities, and the decorativeness of this planting is simply amazing.
