We fertilize with manure
Manure is one of the good fertilizers used in the garden or vegetable garden. It contains such useful substances as: potassium, calcium, phosphorus and nitrogen.
The content of beneficial bacteria in manure allows you to process organic compounds into inorganic ones, thereby increasing soil fertility. Frequent addition of manure fertilizer saturates the earth with oxygen, which in turn increases the heat capacity of the soil, as a result of which the conditions for growing plants, trees and shrubs on a plot or garden are maximally improved.
But you should not very often add manure to the soil, it is enough to apply it every two years, so as not to harm the beneficial properties of the soil.
It is recommended to deposit from 300 to 400 kg. fertilizers per 100 square meters, compost fertilizer needs to be taken several times more, you also need to add humus twice a year (in spring and autumn). An ideal time to add manure to the soil in the fall. Since during the winter period it will rot a little, then in the spring to enrich the soil with useful compounds.
Fertilizing the soil in the garden with inorganic fertilizers
These include: ash, clay, river sand, as well as crushed eggshells. Ash reduces the high acidity of the soil. To increase the fruiting of peaty soil, it is recommended to add a small amount of sand or clay to it.
Fertilizing the soil in the garden with mineral fertilizers
Do not forget that to increase and improve the yield in the soil, it is advisable to add mineral fertilizers as well: to enrich the soil with a large amount of nitrogen, it is recommended to use urea; reduces the acidity of ammonium sulfate; in late autumn or early spring, superphosphate should be added to the ground; to improve the growth and development of plants, it is necessary to fertilize the soil with potassium nitrate.
Fertilizers that plants need
Nitrogen fertilizers - necessary for the formation of greenery, it is recommended to use it during the beginning of the growing season.
Phosphate fertilizer - necessary for the ovary, flower. It is especially important for plants that have fruits (tomatoes, cucumbers).
The use of potassium as a garden fertilizer improves the growth and development of plants in the garden. Helps Fight Pests and Diseases
An excellent regulator of soil acidity is calcium.
Lack or excess of mineral additives and macroelements in the soil worsens the health of plants, negatively affects their growth and development. Maintaining the correct balance of nutrients helps to improve the yield.
