The strong trunk of the Black Prince tomatoes forms uncomplicated brushes with simple greenish leaves. In this mid-season variety, on the 10th leaf (and the next ones - after 3), a large number of ovaries appear, but only five or six are left, so that the tomatoes are larger.
The Black Prince tomato is quite resistant to various diseases, and late blight completely bypasses it.

Another bonus for vegetable growers is the self-pollination of this variety. By the way, this is why the Black Prince tomato variety should not be planted next to other vegetable crops, so that mixed pollination does not happen.

The main properties of these tomatoes are meatiness, juiciness, they have a thin skin, but a dense structure. In color, the fruits can be pale red, purple, even black.
By weight, the Black Prince can reach up to 400 grams, and with proper care, even half a kilogram. One bush can produce up to four kilograms of tomatoes.

With regard to transportation and long-term storage, the large size and delicate structure do not allow us to assert that this variety is well stored and transported. Rather, these tomatoes are best used fresh in salads, sauces, dressings, and other thermally processed dishes.

Most likely, the Black Prince tomato, due to its sweetish taste, can be attributed to the dessert variety. Even children will love it. It is better not to use it in conservation, since these tomatoes will not remain intact due to their softness. But in tomato paste, adjika or ketchup will definitely fit. They also do not make juice from it, since the variety has a high dry matter content.

For cultivation of the Black Prince tomato variety, planting in open ground, under a film and in a greenhouse, is suitable so that the harvest is early.
The sprouts appear around the 10th day after sowing the seeds and grow rapidly.

The time of sowing the Black Prince tomato is the first decade of March. A wide pallet is used as a sowing container. Loose fertile soil preheated in the oven is poured into it (to destroy harmful insects and microbes). The seeds of the Black Prince tomato are sown 2 cm apart, watered and covered with glass to create a greenhouse effect (you can use cling film). As soon as the first shoots appear, the film is removed.Withstand a temperature regime of +25 degrees.
