The gardener can get pig manure on the site without any difficulty, and in fairly large quantities. It, when compared with other organic fertilizers, contains much more nutrients than manure, which is obtained from cattle. At the same time, every gardener who decides to use pig manure must remember that there are some negative points that just prevent gardeners from using pig manure in full, replacing all other organic additives with it. Of course, it is worth noting that the use of organic matter on the site implies that the gardener will also prepare the material in advance, since it is not recommended to use it in a fresh and pure form, and in relation to some garden and vegetable crops it is completely prohibited. The essence of the preparation is that the animal's body also contains a certain number of parasites, and in general the digestive process is very complex and multi-stage. For example, due to methane fermentation that occurs in the animal's body, without the participation of oxygen, the acid can break down into particles, and they, in turn, contain nitrogen, which is so necessary for feeding the plant for its development and active growth.

But in pigs, everything is a little different - acid can come out along with waste products, but there is nothing to worry about. To obtain organic fertilizer, the gardener should properly compost the resulting manure, and this is what will allow the acid to decompose and allow nitrogen and other important and, most importantly, useful components to come out.

This type of organic fertilizer is most often used to feed and saturate the soil, but experienced gardeners do not recommend using pig manure when it comes to greenhouses and greenhouses. This is due to the fact that the level of air humidity there is increased, and therefore numerous oxidative processes can actively develop.

To neutralize them, it is recommended to add one of the following components to the pig manure:

- dolomite flour, which requires approximately one kilogram per hundred kilograms of pig manure
- superphosphate - per centner of pig manure will require about one and a half to two kilograms of superphosphates
- double superphosphates are also great - it takes from seven hundred grams to one kilogram per centner of manure
- lime - half a kilogram is bred for one hundred kilograms of pig manure.This option is less suitable, since many useful substances can disappear from the fertilizer, but lime is added periodically.

If the grower uses fresh pig manure, it can damage the soil. First of all, manure will acidify the soil, and it is also highly likely that the root system of a plant, especially one that was planted not so long ago, can simply burn out from the fertilizer applied, so you should be as careful and attentive as possible, taking into account the smallest moments that at first glance seem insignificant. This effect can occur even if the fertilizer is simply scattered on the soil surface before frost sets in. The problem is also that the content of ammonia and nitrogen in pig manure is increased, and if the grower wants to reduce their amount, then the pigs must have litter during the period when they are kept by the gardener or farmer and give manure. Litter is usually made from straw or sawdust, which is then mixed with manure.

To get a useful fertilizer based on pig manure, you should carefully read the stages and timing of the decomposition of organic components, since this largely determines which soil you can apply pig manure to, and for which plants it is most suitable ... In fresh form, it is best not to use the introduction of pig manure into chernozem soils, as well as into other soil compositions in which humus prevails. They may become unsuitable for planting plants in them, since the root system is unlikely to take root there. Ideally, this should be an alkaline soil that contains a lot of carbonates. Acid followed by neutral fertilization, will improve the condition of the soil as a whole. In other cases, the manure should be prepared very carefully in advance, and then used as an active organic additive. If you mix pig manure with horse manure, then it will become suitable for almost any garden bed and site. If you mix manure with sawdust or straw, then it can be safely applied to loamy soils, since they perfectly accept such organic compounds.

Pig manure contains a sufficient amount of phosphorus in comparison with other mineral fertilizers, which are analogues. It does not accumulate and does not become fixed in the soil; this is also its great advantage. Potassium is also perfectly absorbed from pig manure in the soil, since it is contained in soluble compounds, and in them it reveals its strength and beneficial properties to a greater extent. If we determine more average indicators, then dry fertilizer based on pig manure contains the following components: a number of useful organic compounds, wood ash, nitrogenous component, potassium oxide.

Humus, which is prepared by a gardener based on pig manure, is a very useful top dressing. It can be applied directly to the soil around the fall, and in the spring it is used simply as a full-fledged fertilizer, thanks to which plants can be saturated with all useful microorganisms, elements, as well as vitamins. As a result of such saturation, the adaptation of the plant to new conditions improves, its rooting, the growth of branches also improves. In addition, pork manure has a great effect on the ovary, flowering, all plants have a very positive attitude to such an additive, which, of course, is an undoubted plus.

If we are talking about laying rotted manure, then in this case it is best used for crops such as beets and tomatoes, corn and garlic, to lay pig manure under currants and apple trees, pear and juniper crops.Often, pig manure, which is added for perennials, reveals its beneficial and nutritional properties only the next year after laying, and this should also be taken into account. As for the use of pig manure, there are a number of significant features that must be taken into account, because not always pig manure can give the plant that amount of nutrients, and in general the effect that the gardener himself expects.

Stages of maturation of pig manure, differences in action

Basically, it should be remembered that the degree of benefit from pig manure, or the degree of its harm, directly depends on at what stage of its decomposition the manure is, because it does not immediately overheat, and, accordingly, does not immediately provide all the necessary amount of nutrients.

This is also due to the fact that when rotting, manure can greatly change its composition, and according to the degree of freshness of manure today, gardeners distinguish several types:

- fresh pig manure - usually it lays within three months, no more. In itself, it contains the greatest amount of acid, nitrogen components and other harmful substances that do not bring any benefit to plants. These components can harm absolutely any land and, of course, cause irreparable harm to the plants themselves, which, in principle, need nitrogen, but an excess of it can only make it worse. But if the soil needs to be fertilized urgently, and there is no other manure other than pork on the site, then the acidity level of the manure can be reduced. To do this, it is mixed with other waste that was obtained as a result of the vital activity of other animals. Their dung will act as a catalyst

- half-rotted manure - its cooking period varies from three to six months, while in the half-rotted manure there is still a small amount of toxins, but the level of biological pollution even with microelements of the animals themselves becomes much lower. It is almost impossible to spoil the plants with such fertilizer, but you should still be careful when applying, and do it exclusively in the autumn. Requires up to about three kilograms per square meter of land

- rotted manure - it usually lays for more than six months and up to one year. It is a very dry manure, which usually loses half of its mass, or even more. The level of acid and nitrogen is noticeably reduced, and one square meter of soil requires at least seven kilograms of rotted pig manure. It is best to apply manure in the autumn period, since then during the winter it will be able to ripen completely

- humus is pig manure, which lasts for at least one year. It practically does not contain acid, and the level of nitrogen in humus is the most optimal. Weed vegetation, microorganisms have already disappeared during this time, which means that humus is completely safe. It is also recommended to add humus to the soil at absolutely any time, it perfectly nourishes the soil, making it rich and rich in various components.

There are, of course, several precautions to keep in mind. If the manure did not have time to rot, then the nitrogen content in it is increased, which can cause irreparable harm to the plant, burn the root system. Such feeding can also be dangerous for the human body itself. The introduction of fresh manure is only to the detriment of the plant, but not in any way to the benefit. And nitrogen can evaporate even before it begins to take root in the soil, saturating it. If the gardener wants to apply the pig manure correctly, then it is best to do this during the autumn digging of the soil. For this, humus or rotted manure is used, since they are the most useful and safer when applied to the soil.

There are several ways in which you can make your own fertilizer from pig manure.The most suitable method is composting manure, since in this type the manure will become even more nutritious, and the unpleasant specific odor that comes from fertilizer will disappear. The compost should not come into contact with the earth's surface, as in this case worms can hide in it, especially in winter. In order to increase the nutritional value of the manure, you can add additional organic fertilizers to the pig manure. When the heap is ready, it should be composted within a year, as it is during this time that the compost can finally mature and reach its highest level of efficiency.

In general, gardeners recommend composting not only pig manure, but also many other organic fertilizers, since they assume that this particular method is one of the safest and most suitable, and that thanks to this composting, all the most essential nutrients can be identified from organic matter. which open up and help the plant to be healthy and demonstrate positive development dynamics.
The gardener can independently choose what kind of manure he needs, and in what condition he plans to use it. The most important thing is to know when to stop and understand that an overabundance of funds can simply harm the plant, weaken it. If the compost smells like rot, then this rather indicates that the waste does not die, but rot, and this is a completely useless process.
