The use of special herbicides, chemicals that destroy the most aggressive weeds. They must be used very carefully and it is imperative to follow safety rules, since herbicides are toxic not only to plants, but also to humans. Therefore, use protective clothing, gloves, goggles, respirator.

It is best to use herbicides after harvest. So that the soil has time to be free of chemicals during the winter.
Now the most effective herbicides are recognized: Hurricane Tornado, Agrokiller, Lapis lazuli, Lintur.

You can make the herbicide yourself.To do this, take an aerosol can and fill it with two cups of vinegar, a half glass of salt and a little dishwashing liquid. Mix everything well until the salt dissolves. Use this agent to treat weeds, only very carefully so as not to hurt your plants. This herbicide is less toxic than the commercial one.

Apply bacteriological EM preparations. At the same time, cut the weeds with a sharp tool and treat with this substance, diluted in water in a ratio of 1: 1000. Em preparations, like herbicides, are best used in the fall.

Biological control method. Sowing plants that suppress weeds (sedum, hosta, splinter and others);

Mixed cultivation helps to reduce weeds. simultaneous cultivation of vegetables, flowers, herbs, berries in one area. As a result, the weeds will have nowhere to grow, the greenery will take their place.But be careful, you should not plant the plants very closely with each other, as there may be waterlogging and, as a result, rotting or infection with fungal diseases.

Apply vegetable oil such as sunflower or rapeseed oil to the weeds. These oils are biodegradable and degraded by bacteria in the soil and contain natural herbicidal and pesticidal properties.

Treat the ground with 6% ethyl alcohol (vodka). Use this method before planting major crops. Plants grow faster under the influence of alcohol, weeds are no exception. They will grow and you can process them all at once without fear of damaging your vegetables.

You can use a blowtorch. There is no need to set fire to the plants, it is enough to hold the flame over them, as a result of this, all the water that was contained in them will evaporate, and they will die. The main thing is not to stay with the lamp for a long time in one place, otherwise you can destroy your plants. After cultivation, the land must be watered.

Compost fertilizer properly. Weeds should not be added to the compost, otherwise they will dominate the breast instead of your vegetables.
