Effective methods of getting rid of weeds and weeds
Almost all gardeners are united by one big problem and its name is weed and weeds. No matter how much you weed, no matter how much you try to pull out, these pests still germinate, since weed seeds are located in huge numbers deep in the soil, from which it follows that it is not difficult for them to germinate even in such unexpected places where a hardworking gardener a few hours ago he carefully weeded out a piece of land.
Today there are two of the most popular weed control methods: mechanical / manual and chemical.
The most popular is the mechanical method, which involves simply pulling out the weeds with your hands. However, there is a high probability that the weed will pop up again in a couple of days. Weeds are especially hard to cut through the ground after rains. If you nevertheless decide to use a mechanical method for removing weeds, you need to carefully ensure that each pulled out "harmful blade of grass" is pulled out along with the root. This will slow down the emergence of new weeds in the area you recently treated.

The use of a chemical method of treating the land from weeds necessarily includes the use of herbicides. However, due to the use of herbicides there is a possibility of damage to the crop you planted, therefore the use of this method is questioned by the overwhelming number of gardeners.
How to get rid of annoying weeds if none of the methods is effective and correct enough? - you ask.
To answer this question, it is enough to remember how our grandparents, and without modern gardening equipment, and without the use of herbicides, managed to get a rich harvest by the fall from weed-free beds. They used folk remedies to get rid of weeds, which, in fact, turn out to be no less effective than herbicides.
So, what folk remedies will help you get rid of "herbal pests"?
1) .Use regular alcohol. It must be mixed with water 1:10 and the resulting alcoholic infusion poured onto the future bed. Gardeners guarantee that after planting in the next summer cottage season, the weeds will be several times less.
2). Prepare a mixture of salt, soap and vinegar. Such a simple formulation will have the properties of a herbicidal soap. For cooking, you will need to mix vinegar, grated soap and salt in the same amount. After the mixture is infused, you can pour it into a spray bottle and spray the weeds.
3). One of the simplest folk methods is to use 5% acetic acid. It can be purchased at any grocery store for a low price, and immediately start spraying the beds.

4). If you are a happy owner of a large summer cottage, you can use nine percent acetic acid and mix it with half a glass of salt and mix thoroughly.
Any of the methods is quite effective, but you should not forget that if a large amount of solution gets on a vegetable or fruit you have sown, this will have a very negative effect on their further growth. You also need to know that in large quantities, vinegar is able to wash out the beneficial properties from the ground, which will also adversely affect your future harvest.
In order not to damage the soil and your crops, you can use baking soda. Soda is a natural alkali that will not damage the soil, but it can kill weeds.Soda needs to be poured in sufficient quantities on the root of the weed, and soon there will be no trace of the weed.
One of the most common methods in summer cottages is sawdust. However, preparation must begin in the fall. Sawdust must be poured onto the sides of the beds, then dug up with the ground. When spring comes, cover the edges of the beds again with sawdust from above. The sawdust will prevent the weeds from breaking through, and they will soon die.
Thus, even without spending a large amount of money, effort and time, you can quickly and effectively get rid of weeds, and enjoy how your future harvest gradually grows on clean beds.
