The currant bush of Remembrance is considered a medium-sized plant, as well as semi-sprawling. Shoots growing of medium size, with a slight curvature and pale green color, they do not have pubescence. Lignified shoots have a grayish-brown color with a golden tint, and also a blush on the sunlit side. The tips of the shoots are yellow-brown in color. The apical kidney is free. The kidneys are endowed with medium size. They have an oblong shape and are single on the shoot.
It is also worth saying that they are sessile, have a slight deviation from the shoot, and have a rich creamy shade. The leaf scar has a round wedge shape.
The leaf of the currant bush is five-lobed, large, glabrous. It has a green color, leathery, and matte, slightly wrinkled structure. This leaf is located on the shoot obliquely downward, with a straight edge. The blades are sharp, the middle one is practically equal to the lateral ones, occasionally with the presence of an additional protrusion. The lateral lobes are rather wide apart, with an obtuse angle between the veins of the middle lobes of the lateral lobes. The basal lobes are of medium development. The base of the leaf has an irregular heart-shaped shape, with a small notch. The teeth are of medium size, double-serrate, with a clearly pronounced white “tip”. The petiole is of medium length, as well as thickness, with an anthocyanin tint along its entire length.
The flowers of the currant variety Remembrance are endowed with medium size and goblet shape when blooming, with a medium degree of severity of the roller. Sepals have a red tint, free and arcuate. The brushes have an average length, on average 5-6 centimeters. They have a cylindrical shape and a single arrangement on the shoot, or 2 per node, straight. The axis is thick and medium, with slight pubescence. The petiole is not available. When ripe, berries are large, each can weigh up to 1.5 grams. They are round and black in color, with yellowish dots.
It is also worth noting that the Remembrance currant has a shiny surface, while the inside contains an average number of seeds. These berries have a dry separation. They taste sweet with a sour aftertaste. During the tasting, they received an assessment of 4 points out of five possible. These berries also have a universal purpose. The cup has a round shape, medium size, closed type. The stalk is short and straight. In their chemical composition, berries have: dry soluble substances about 12.6 percent; the amount of sugars is about 8 percent; titratable acids 2.8 percent; ascorbic acid 108 milligrams per 100 grams of product; P-active substances 1620 milligrams per 100 grams of product.
Variety of currants "Memory" is quite hardy to frost, fast-growing and, importantly, self-fertile. It has immunity relative to such a common disease as powdery mildew. It is quite suitable for cultivation using mechanized technology. The yield level of the currant variety "Recollection" averages 12 tons per hectare.
