A shrub of the Pamyati Bredov currant variety of strong growth, sprawling in a weak degree. Young shoots are tall, thin, erect, green in color, no pubescence. Buds are medium in size, round, located on short stems.

Leaves with five lobes, large, dark green in color, have small notches. The leaf plate is bare, loose, smooth, vertical, glossy, with wrinkles. The lobes are sharp, the middle one is longer than the lateral lobes, the angle between the central veins of the lateral lobes is obtuse. The basal lobes are very clearly visible. At the base, the leaf is in the form of a heart, has a deepened recess, and often has a "lock". The denticles are blunt, large. The petiole is medium in length, thickened, with a weak anthocyanin, which completely covers the length.

The flowers of the black currant variety in Memory of Bredov are large, light pink in color, the sepals are shortened, the ovary is bare, not covered with pubescence, in the form of an oval, not cut. The brush is medium in size, hanging down, the number of fruits in the brush is eight to ten pieces. The brush axis is medium in size, vertical, no pubescence.
