The subspecies was included in the State Register in 1995 and was zoned in the West Siberian and East Siberian regions.
The bush of the Agrolevskaya currant variety itself is considered weak and slightly spreading. The shoots of this bush are straight and thick.

The Agrolesovskaya black currant variety is considered quite frost-resistant. He is self-fertile. The yield of this subspecies averages 5.6 tons per hectare of area. The flowers of this bush have good resistance to cold weather.
Another distinctive feature of the Agrolesovskaya currant is the average level of immunity to diseases such as powdery mildew, and high resistance to the attack of a kidney mite.
