Plum Skorospelka round: features of culture
These fruit trees are self-fertile crops. The best variety pollinating this variety of plums is considered to be “red early ripening". Fruit crops begin to produce crops when they reach the age of three to four years. The harvest ripens in the third week of the last summer month. This variety of plums bears fruit every year. The amount of the harvested crop from each tree is ten to fifteen kilograms, and sometimes twenty-five kilograms can be obtained. The crop does not crack, but falls off when ripe.
This type of plum has a high level of resistance to cold, but in severe winter periods it freezes strongly, up to about four to five points. They do not have a high level of resistance to such diseases and parasites as "aphids", "seed-eaters", "leaf rollers", "pockets", "milky shine", "fruit rot".
