Plum Renklode Kuibyshevsky was obtained by selection specialist E. P. Finaev at the Kuibyshev Experimental Station for horticulture from combining such varieties of plums as "local rennlode", or "yellow rennlode" and "lazy rennlode". This variety was added to the state register in 11959 for the Middle Volga and North-West regions.
