Plum Kantemirovka was obtained by a group of breeders V.S. Simonov, H.K. Enikeev, S.N. Satarova. The plum varieties "Ochakovskaya Black" and "Renklod Altana" were taken as a basis for creating a new variety. And in 2001, the home plum variety Kantemirovka was entered in the state register for the Central region of Russia. It is this territory of Russia that is most favorable for the growth and fruiting of this variety.

An adult plum tree Kantemirovka grows in height up to 400-450 cm, the crown is predominantly oval. The bark along almost the entire length of the trunk is smooth, gray in color, with frequent lenticels. Shoots grow straight or slightly curved. The flower bud grows oval with a pointed tip.
The leaves of the Kantemirovka plum are wedge-shaped, the edges are slightly serrated. The leaves are of medium density and grow no more than 9-10 cm in length and 5-6 cm in width, in the middle of the leaf plate a vein stands out brightly, passing from the base to the tip of the leaf. The petiole has a yellow-green color, and is also characterized by an average size of glands and a moderate amount of anthocyanins. Stipules are light green in color, medium-sized, dissected.

The flower pistil is straight with a rounded stigma, it can grow up to 17 mm. Flower calyx without any pubescence, with ovoid sepals, which are usually 5 * 3 mm in size.
Young shoots of the Kantemirovka plum stop growing actively by mid-June, the end of the growing season of the plant falls at the beginning of October. Drought resistance and frost resistance are average. The most favorable place for growth is the central part of Russia.
