Plum Kabardinka is an autumn variety. It was bred by hybridizing two varieties: Lyubimitsa Klapa and Bere Ardanpon. We created the variety Kastyk, Khachetlova and Tereshchenkova.
The plum variety Kabardinka has a wide distribution and recognition in Kabardino-Balkaria and Stavropol. Recently it has been in the Lower Volga region.
Plum Kabardinka: variety description and characteristics
The tree has the shape of a reverse pyramid with a very dense crown. On the branches there are simple and complex ringlets and spears.
Shoots are rounded, brown, straight. The leaves are shiny and smooth, with finely serrated margins and a top elongated upward. The leaves are painted green with a bluish tint. The leaves have long and smooth petioles.
The fruits are not large, of medium size. The skin of the fruit is shiny and smooth. The color of the pear is green-yellow with a delicate blush. The fruit is attached to a long, curved peduncle. There is no funnel.
The calyx is present, it is located in a deep, wide saucer.
The pulp of the plum variety Kabardinka is white with a tint of green. The taste is delicate, pleasant, sweet and sour aftertaste. The fruits are consumed from September to October.
Features of the variety
In the seventh year of life, fruiting of the Kabardinka plum begins. The yield is quite high, 200 centners per hectare.
