Plum Dymchatka obtained by crossing the varieties "Kolkhoz renklode"And" 2-2-3 "(TsGL) on the basis of the Saratov Experimental Gardening Station. The author is G.I.Dymnova. The plum variety Dymchatka has been listed in the state register since 2002, zoned in the Lower Volga region.
Plum Dymchatka: variety description and characteristics
The plum tree Dymchatka grows rapidly, the crown is in the form of a pyramid, dense in an average degree, the branches rise, the bark covering the trunk is gray in color, the surface of the trunk and main branches is smooth, there are no lentils. Shoots are thickened, upright, buds grow in pairs or singly, pointed tops; the leaf plate is bent upward, above and at the base, sharp, not pubescent, the edges of the leaves are in a denticle. The petiole is of medium size, thickened, glands of medium size, round, white in color. There are no stipules. Flowers are white, grow in pairs or singly, large, white buds, not crimped, short pistil.
Features of the variety
Dymchatka plums weigh thirty-three grams (maximum forty-eight grams), thirty-nine mm high, thirty-four mm wide, forty mm thick (in 2 planes), at the base the fruit has a wide medium-sized depression. The abdominal suture is small, stands out, the peel is tender of medium density, the color of the cavity is the same as the color of the pulp - yellow; the stone is of medium size, in the form of an oval, the apex is skewed, the base is sharp, there is no suture, the stone has pits and small grooves. The palate is sweet-sour, spicy, the stem is not firmly attached to the plum.
Fruits of the plum variety Dymchatka contain: monosaccharides (8.8%), sucrose (3.8%), free catechins (forty-four mg per hundred grams), anthocyanins (eighty-two mg per hundred grams), pectin (eight and a half percent), the ratio of sugar content to acidity is 4.6.
Shoots finish growing by June 17-19, the growing season ends on October 25th. Heat resistance average.
