Dryadella Orchid
Content:
The Dryadella Orchid can be called one of those plants that has a large number of varieties, species and subspecies. Even single-sorted orchids can have subtle but individual differences.
Orchid Dryadella (from Lat. "Driadella, Dryadella") is a medium-sized representative of epiphytic orchids. Presumably, this variety got its name thanks to the mythical ancient nymphs, which people call dryads. As the legend says, when a new tree appears, his personal dryad is born in parallel with it, which helps and protects it throughout the tree's life.
If you look at Drialella in the wild, then outwardly she is very similar to a forest nymph who carefully wrapped her stem around a tree trunk. And the small leaves are like numerous eyes with which the plant observes and warns the tree of danger.

In the wild, the Dryadella orchid variety can be found in northern Argentina, as well as in the southern regions and rainforests of Brazil and Mexico.
Externally, the plant is miniature, the length of the shoots, taking into account the length of the leaves, is from 4 to 6 cm. The leaf plates are dense, but small. During the flowering period, the plant has a peduncle 3-5 cm long. On each peduncle, only one flower blooms, which resembles a triangle in shape. In diameter, the inflorescence reaches 1-2 cm.
However, the Dryadella orchid blooms beautifully. The flower, in addition to a brightly saturated main color, which can differ depending on the region of growth from red to purple-lilac, is dotted with dark dots, which also give a special visual picture to the flower. Under favorable conditions, the plant blooms twice a year - in spring and autumn.

This can be a special device, such as a humidifier, or the usual spraying of nearby plants. The most common and simplest way to humidify the air for orchids is a container with wet expanded clay, gravel or pebbles. According to reviews, Dryadella also tolerates lower temperatures, in case of emergency.
You can grow Dryadella Orchid on a block, in a pot or basket. But in any case, it is necessary to use sphagnum moss, when organizing a place of growth. When choosing a substrate, that is, a specialized soil for orchids, it is recommended to use coconut palm fiber for Dryadella.
For the Dryadella orichid variety, it will be enough to feed, in the form of a liquid specialized fertilizer, once a month.
As for the issue of watering, orchids are moisture-loving plants and their substrate should not dry out and be always wet. It is necessary to monitor the state and moisture level of the substrate, it is important that it does not dry out, but you should not fill the plant either.
