Nivyanik
Content:
The Nivyanik flower represents grasses, can grow for a year or many years. It is part of the genus Astrovye, in another way they are called - Compositae. Initially, Nivyanik was a member of the Chrysanthemum family. They removed it from there, because the plant does not have the same aroma as chrysanthemums, and its petals also do not have silver marigold. In the resources I have reviewed, I can say that such a family includes from twenty to seventy varieties. Experts called this flower "Leukantemum", which means "White flower", say in Russian "Nivyanik" from the word "niva".
The Nivyanik plant is widespread in Europe and Asia with a climate suitable for the plant. The flower also grows in New Zealand, North America and Australia. In greenhouses, it is often called chamomile. The plant is actual in the collection of bouquets, as well as in the design of the site.
Nivyanik: description of the flower and characteristics
The Nivyanik flower has a brown root system. There are practically no leaves on the stems, the size of the plant reaches thirty to one hundred and twenty centimeters. In appearance, the leaves are oblong, emerald hue. Leaves grow both from the roots and from the stem, depending on which plant variety. Buds are varied in size, from sixty to one hundred and twenty millimeters, reminiscent of chamomile. The buds are baskets, consisting of yellow tubules, from which white petals grow. The buds grow at the tips of the stems. The inflorescence period is twice, from mid-spring to mid-summer, from mid-summer to mid-autumn. In the middle of the bud, you can see the seeds emerging from two to three years.
Nivyanik: growing from seeds
To achieve inflorescences already this season, you can plant the daisy with seeds. Seeds are planted in late winter, early spring. Seedling containers can be of different sizes as the plants will be transplanted later. To make it easier to regulate moisture, containers are used small. Then we fill the container with soil for planting seeds, but you can also buy special soil for sowing with peat. Before planting, the container is sterilized with potassium permanganate. The first layer is a drainage system, then it is filled with soil. The container is not completely filled, it is necessary to leave from twenty to thirty millimeters from the edges.
The ground should be even, then sowing seeds begins to a depth of ten millimeters, pour a little soil on top. Then you need to pour everything from the dispenser.
There is no need to close the container, but it must be placed in a warm room at twenty-two degrees. After the emergence of shoots, it is necessary to put the container in a room cooler from eighteen to twenty degrees. with the development of vegetation for a month already, a little fertilizer is added to the soil. When the plant is forty-five days old, it is transplanted into separate containers filled with the same soil and also with plenty of fertilizer. It is important to choose a container, knowing that the plant will grow in it before transplanting it into an open area of land. After transplanting, two days should pass, then the seedlings must be fed in the interval of one month. You can plant vegetation at the end of spring, when all the last frosts have passed. Before planting, it is necessary for the plant to get used to the ground, so in fifteen days the plant begins to winter.
The pits for seedlings of the nivyanik should be from thirty centimeters, and their distance from each other is from thirty to seventy centimeters. The plant is planted in rows, therefore, the row spacing should be from twenty centimeters. The first layer in the fossa should be nutrient minerals, then natural fertilizers. Seedlings are planted with a lump of earth from a container, then the pits are filled with fertile soil. It is necessary to moisturize the plant. After moistening, as the earth dries up a little, you can start mulching, for this we need sawdust and water, you can add a special solution to strengthen the roots.
Nivyanik: planting a flower
When planting daisy seeds directly into an open area, the first year the plant will develop roots and leaves. inflorescence can be only after a couple of years. The period for planting the seedbed with seeds is April or September.
Without changing the place of cultivation, the daisy plant can develop for seven years, thus, the place for cultivation must be chosen with special care. The place should be sunny, humid, with a drainage system, the earth should be fertile to a depth of twenty-five to thirty centimeters, you can add black soil. If the land is not as fertile, not moistened, then it will not have as many flowers as expected. In the shade, the plant also develops slowly, do not expect large buds. For planting in light, loose soil, it is worth adding fertilizer. Because such a plant will not take root in ordinary sandy soil, as well as in heavy clay. You also need to ensure that there is no stagnation in the soil, otherwise the plant will begin to rot and die.
Weeding or hilling of the soil is required. Next, you need to mount the grooves at intervals of twenty centimeters from each other. It is necessary to plant seeds to a depth of twenty millimeters. Then cover with soil, moisten regularly. The next day, do mulching, for example, you can cover with peat. As soon as the shoots appear, thinning should be done.
The planted seeds of the daisy in the fall will come out in the spring, and if the seedlings are transplanted to a larger plot, then at the end of August one can observe flowering. If the seed was planted in the spring, then in September there will be small seedlings. They need to be transplanted to a site for long-term development; after the vegetation has taken root, they can be mulched for the winter.
Nivyanik: plant care
Nivyanik is not picky about leaving. The flower must be regularly watered, nourished, weeded, hilled. For a beautifully decorated plant, drooping shoots need to be cut off. It is necessary to moisten only when the soil is completely dry, for one square meter. meter takes one liter of water. The field of cloudy weather or moisture, the intervals of the bushes need to be spud, removing excess weeds.
It is also necessary to fertilize the daisy, at first - this should be done with mixtures with nitrogen and potassium, for good plant formation. You also need to add natural fertilizers once every forty-five days, so there will be no need to nourish with minerals. To make the inflorescence large and beautiful, bone meal is added to the soil. At the end of the inflorescence, the shrub will not be as attractive, so they are cut off from ten to fifteen centimeters.
Diseases and pests
In cloudy conditions, the Nivyanik plant can get sick with a fungus, especially with constant moisture. It can also be affected by rust, powdery mildew, stains. Fusarium, stem rot, bacteria cancer. As soon as you saw that the plant got sick, immediately treat it from the dispenser with Bordeaux solution, if necessary, the process is repeated several times in the interval of fifteen days. It so happens that it is no longer possible to cure a plant, so they get their lands and kill them.
Thrips, miners eating chrysanthemums, slobbering pennies appear on the plant. To combat these insects, the plant of their dispenser should be treated with a mixture of Inta-vira, Bazudin and other similar ones. Decoctions from herbs, for example, celandine, marigolds and others, can also help. Experts advise using special solutions to kill pests; they can be purchased at a gardening store.
