It is very easy to breed daylilies by dividing the bush; for this you dig up an adult bush, or even dig out a part of it.
The place for the daylily must be prepared in advance. Dig a hole at least 30 cm deep, and add humus there. The hole can be deeper, it depends on the length and power of the roots, the planted bush. Pour a bucket of water into the hole, and lower the seedling strictly in the center. Spread out all the roots and cover with earth, tamp well. Around the bush, you need to make a small ditch, 10-15 cm deep, and fill it with water.
The daylily is very fond of moisture, so it needs to be watered regularly, and in drought, this should be done more abundantly.
Daylily care
Top dressing for the daylily needs to be introduced only twice a year, in early spring, and after it has faded.
It is advisable to cut off wilted flowers, then the rest will bloom stronger and better. The foliage of daylilies should be cut 5 cm from the ground after it turns yellow.
Since the daylily is a perennial flower, it is necessary to transplant it to another place no earlier than after 8 years. That's all the simple care of these flowers.
Plant daylilies of light colors in a sunny place, but dark and bright shades in a slight partial shade so that the color does not fade in the sun. You can plant them both in flower beds, and simply along the house, or a fence. And the main thing is regular watering.
