Probably many of your friends are gardeners who dream of planting some exotic plant on their site. For this, they are looking for special people who are engaged in the cultivation of exotic or browse various sites of online stores in order to find something unusual. But, in fact, you don't have to go too far. A plant such as coreopsis can easily cope with the role of exoticism. It is a perennial shrub with vibrant flowers. Many designers prefer this particular shrub. You will ask why? Everything is very simple for its decorativeness, juicy bright color (most often it has yellow color). The middle of the flower is most often brown, but sometimes it can be yellow. For the fact that this plant blooms for a long time, it has received its demand in landscape design. Coreopsis bushes can be of different heights: high and low (if you want to decorate the borders, then this height will suit you). Therefore, most often, you can see this particular plant around the perimeter of the site or lawn, you can also use it to design a path or sidewalk. But this flower also looks very beautiful in separate pots on the terrace or window.
Coreopsis planting rules
Before planting coreopsis, you need to consider several subtleties, without which you cannot grow a beautiful and worthy plant. When planting, be sure to consider the height of the coreopsis. And already, depending on the height, choose where it is better to plant it. If you add, for example, roses or lilies to the coreopsis, then your site will be filled with a wonderful fragrance. If you have not yet chosen a design for your site, but want, say, decorative or real stones on the site, then you can also decorate them with coreopsis. It is best to place the lawn with this flower where the sun's rays fall. Coreopsis does not develop as well in the shade as it does in the sun. If you want to plant some other plant with this flower, then it can be noted that this is a rather, such not capricious flower. Coreopsis is a “peaceful” plant. He does not force out his neighbors, does not try to conquer someone else's territory. This flower is good friends with delphinium and blue sage. Most often, perennial coreopsis are grown, but there are also annuals.
