Powislaya pears can retain their qualities until the first days of November. The fruits are suitable for consumption "from the branch", as well as for various preparations, compotes.
Hanging pear begins to bear fruit four to five years after the plant has been planted. The harvest grows more and more every year. As for resistance to low temperatures, it is medium in the Powislaya pear variety.
