Dahlia bushes of the Galleri series are neat and low. The height of the stem does not exceed 30 cm, but if the soil is especially rich in nutrients and well fertilized, then it can reach 60 cm in height. However, if a given flower has very massive stems and leaves, then the flowers, as a rule, will be small and inconspicuous.
Gellary's dahlia inflorescence is terry. The diameter of one flower can reach up to 15 cm, keeping on low, but strong stems. Thanks to this, the plant is resistant to gusts of wind and heavy rains. This type of dahlia is unpretentious and tolerates unfavorable weather well. By no means, very picky about light, so you need to plant these flowers in open, sunny places.
The best and most amicable of all Gallary dahlias bloom in June, but some individual flowers begin to bloom in May. Dahlias bloom for a long time, almost until autumn. Flowers, as a rule, grow one at a time, but there can be several flowers on one branch.

Gallary dahlias are grown using seedlings. First of all, you need to buy good seeds in the store or take from your friends. The seeds are planted in the soil. It can be either separate pots or a common box. The soil must necessarily consist of humus, peat and sand. There is also an option to buy plant roots and plant them in the spring.
To plant seedlings, you need to prepare a container and fill it with soil, water it properly, and dig shallow holes.Put seeds in each hole and cover them with earth and water it thoroughly again. Then it is recommended to close the box with foil, and place it in a warm place until shoots appear. When shoots appear, the film must be removed and the box placed in the sun.
When the seedlings grow, and this will be approximately the second decade of May, it is necessary to wait until the end of the return spring frosts, and you can plant the Gallary dahlias. Plants can be planted in any soil, except for those areas where asters grew before. In addition, plants do not grow well in acidic soil. The soil should be light, with an optimal amount of humus. The planting site must be prepared in advance by adding organic fertilizers there. Then dig up everything as it should. When planting seedlings, it is necessary to ensure that the roots fit freely into the hole. It is not at all advised to bring manure and nitrogen during planting.
Since Gallary dahlias love light soils, it is not necessary to compact the earth after planting, you just need to mulch the surface. In case of a strong cold snap, the plants can be covered with foil.
In the future, the flowers do not require increased attention to themselves, it is only recommended to make regular watering a couple of times a week. If the layer of mulch is sufficient, then you can water it once every two weeks.
Also, the Gallary series dahlias are recommended to be fed, about 2 times for the entire season. As top dressing, you can use ready-made complex fertilizers sold in stores specifically for dahlias, or fertilize the bushes with ash.

After, the root system is properly cleaned with water and dried in the open air. After the tubers are dry, they are separated from the roots and shoots. Further, it is recommended that the tubers are placed in some kind of fungicide for a short period of time and then dried again. Finished onions are placed in boxes or wrapped in paper. It is recommended to store them at a temperature not exceeding 8 degrees.
