The foliage of the Chanson violet variety is large, dark green, evenly colored. The leaf plates are rounded, the legs are high. On the reverse side, the leaves are slightly lowered, and on the outside they have a glossy sheen, rather smooth and juicy. The socket is neat and large. The foliage is in good harmony with the inflorescences, it sets off large buds. This violet blooms in a dark blue color, the flowers are collected in inflorescences of rosettes, in each of them there are usually no more than 6 flowers. On the edges, the petals are uneven, wavy. Also, pink marks are visible on the flowers, the petals themselves are quite voluminous, velvety. Violet blooms frequently and profusely. When plants eject buds for the first time, pink peas may be absent, and then from the second and subsequent flowering plants all varietal characteristics appear. Violet Chanson is considered a rather capricious variety, therefore, violets react intensely to a lack of sunlight. That is why in winter plants are recommended to be supplemented with phytolamps. The flowers of the plants are very bright, and the foliage is dark, it is for this combination that the Chanson variety is loved by gardeners.
Violet Chanson: growing

In fact, the rules for growing Chanson violets are not very different from growing other varieties. However, we note that Chanson in many respects is considered a more unpretentious variety, so even a novice florist can grow it. The rules for care are simple, so in order for the bushes to be healthy and strong, you will need to monitor several indicators, namely humidity, light and temperature in the room. If we talk about the composition of the soil, then you can prepare the soil yourself. To do this, you need to add a little peat, sand and sphagnum moss to the garden soil. Sometimes charcoal, vermiculite are added there, and do not forget about the drainage layer, the moisture in the pot should not stagnate. The choice of a pot must also be approached responsibly. The root system of violets is small, so the size of the container for planting plants must be appropriate. The pots should be wide, but not deep, since the violets have a superficial root system, but take into account the age of the violets, mini varieties can be planted in very small containers. But for adult and mature plants, such pots are not suitable, it is recommended to transplant violets once every few years, some varieties - annually. Moreover, this is done by the transshipment method in order not to damage the fragile root system of plants. Each new pot should be slightly larger than the previous one in size, and the diameter of the container must be 3 times smaller than the depth of the plant's root system. It is with this ratio that the violet will feel comfortable in the container. If we talk about the material of manufacture, then the pots can be both plastic and ceramic, however, it is preferable to choose ceramics, moreover, non-carbonated, since the root system of plants breathes in such pots.Chanson does not like direct sunlight, because of it whitish spots and burns appear on the foliage, so it is best to grow plants on the east and west windows, on the north side the plant may not have enough light, and on the south side, the violet can get burns. In autumn and winter, it is recommended to supplement the shrubs so that the violet blooms, grows and develops more intensively. It is believed that once every three days, it is advisable to turn the violet so that the foliage does not reach for sunlight and develops proportionally. The air temperature in the room should be approximately + 22-25 degrees. The temperature should not fall below + 18, otherwise the violet will be too cold, however, the plants cannot stand the heat either, the bushes of violets are also afraid of drafts, so take this into account when determining the location of the flower pot. The humidity in the room should be high, at the level of 50-70%. But this does not mean that the plants can be sprayed; due to excessive moisture, the flower may die. If the air in your apartment is too dry, then place a pallet with expanded clay or small pebbles next to the windowsill, so the moisture will evaporate, which means that the violet will grow and develop more comfortably.
Violet Chanson: planting and reproduction

There are several ways to propagate the Chanson violet. First, you can root the cutting in water or soil. Usually, a new plant is transplanted when the roots begin to stand out noticeably, if you root the cutting in the substrate, then the violets can be transplanted no earlier than after a month and a half. In order to propagate the Chanson violet, you can pinch the culture. It is recommended to separate and plant stepchildren immediately in separate containers. However, this must be done very carefully, since the root system of these plants is very fragile. The longest reproduction process is considered to be the use of seeds. However, this method is used mainly by breeders in order to breed a new plant variety. And therefore, it is not recommended to propagate violets by seeds for ordinary ordinary growers, because plants propagated in this way do not retain the varietal characteristics of the parent bush, so it is better not to experiment.
Chanson violet care

It is not difficult to care for Chanson violets, but certain rules must be adhered to. The plant can be watered both upward and downward. If you water plants with a ruler, it must have a narrow and long nose. Sometimes for the same purposes, flower growers recommend using medical pears. The fact is that moisture should not get on the foliage and shoots of plants. And often flower growers use bottom watering, for this they pour water into the pan and "watered" the plants, leaving the pots with violets in the water for half an hour. Remember that violets do not like waterlogging. Therefore, very often flower growers also use wick irrigation, using a piece of cotton cloth or string for this. It is also not necessary to transplant plants unnecessarily, if the plant has become cramped in the pot, then try to transplant the violet in such a way that the earthy ball does not collapse. If the plants are in the flowering phase, then it is better not to touch the violet. Fertilizing the soil is recommended so that the violets bloom for a long time and abundantly. For this, use special fertilizers that are sold in specialized stores; it is recommended to apply top dressing to the soil about once a month.
