The violet variety Odalisque has become very popular after its breeding, especially in Russia. This variety grows and develops well at a moderate temperature. Recently, the distribution of the Odalisque violet has gone beyond the borders of Russia. Initially, the popularity began to grow due to the fact that the variety took part in various exhibitions and competitions, taking pride of place. Odalisque stands out for its buds, which have a fairly large diameter, as well as a surprisingly snow-white color.
Sometimes there are buds that have a slight pink or blue tone. Basically, the inside of the bud has a richer color than the outside. These petals attract a lot of attention as they look very impressive. Interestingly, the plant changes its color throughout its life. Initially, the color of the petals is white, then turns into pale pink or pale blue, and by the end of life it darkens and becomes closer to purple.
Odalisque violet buds, which have already blossomed, have a width of about 8 centimeters, while sometimes they can reach up to 11 centimeters. Each petal is distinguished by its neatness, interesting shape of the edges of the bud, which resemble a wave. There is also a small amount of fringe around the edges. It is she who makes the plant more lush and voluminous, thereby increasing the percentage of its attractiveness.
On average, the peduncle is long and very strong, so the bud is taller than its leaves. Rosettes of leaves are very neat, small in size, and have the shape of a ball. Usually, the rosettes reach up to 23-27 centimeters. The leaf plate of the plant has a smoothness, as well as an amazing color, which, depending on the environment, is either light green or deep green. A distinctive feature of this variety is a slight curl of the leaf upward, as well as a small edging of the leaf, which differs by a couple of tones from the main color.

The amount of light.
The Violet variety Odalisque is an unpretentious plant, but, despite this, it must be well looked after, and also provided with good lighting, the right temperature and humidity. These criteria are very important for the normal functioning of the plant. Otherwise, the plant will wilt, and may also completely stop its flowering process.
For a violet variety LE Odalisque, good and diffused light is perfect, therefore, the plant should be placed on the windowsills of the east or west. It is worth limiting the plant from direct rays, as they have a detrimental effect on the plant. They act very aggressively on the leaves and burn them, leaving burns that are difficult to heal. To avoid various burns, the plant is moved for a while to another place or covered with matter.
Violet Odalisque can be placed not only on the windowsill, it can also be installed on a table or chair, which is located near the windows.
Sometimes the flower must be turned over so that each side of the flower is in the sun and thus evenly develops. It will also make the plant look healthier and also more attractive. Otherwise, one side of the flower will be healthy and the other will wither. It is also fraught with uneven growth of leaves and stems.
The amount of light should be quite voluminous, on average, a flower needs about 13 hours of light. In case of insufficient lighting, you should use ordinary lamps that are installed above the plants.
What should be the temperature?
The right temperature is the next most important factor, as it affects the flowering process, its quality and duration. For a violet LE Odalisque, an average temperature of 22 degrees is suitable. If it is less or more, then the flower will stop developing and growing.
The violet variety Odalisque cannot tolerate low temperatures, the stem begins to freeze and the plant eventually dies. Therefore, the temperature must be carefully monitored so as not to lose the plant. You can cover the pot with polystyrene foam, which will slightly protect the root system from frost, especially in the winter.
But at the same time, the temperature should not rise above 27 degrees. Such a temperature will also have a bad effect on the plant, it will begin to dry out, moisture will evaporate, the plant will look sluggish and sickly.

Watering.
Watering should be done about twice a week. The frequency of watering depends only on the condition of the soil; with a slight drying out, it is necessary to immediately apply water. The plant does not tolerate drought well and cannot be without water for a long time. In its absence, the flower dries up. Excessive moisture is also detrimental to the flower, like drought. With a lot of watering, rot begins to develop in the root system, affecting some areas. This causes the plant to die.
The amount of moisture in the air.
Odalisca violets are good for increased moisture, but it should be borne in mind that the spraying method cannot be used. The best option is a herbal moisturizer, available at specialty stores.
Top dressing.
Top dressing of violets LE Odalisque is applied to the soil for a whole year, about 1 time in 60 days. Gardeners recommend using a complex fertilizer containing all the necessary trace elements. You can also add wood ash, separately phosphorus or nitrogen fertilizing.
How to transplant a LE Odalisque violet
It is necessary to carry out a transplant with the onset of the spring period. But if your flower grows under the light of lamps, then it can be produced at any period. This variety is different in that the pot for it does not have to be small or large, therefore, the transplant is carried out every year to make the development of the flower more comfortable.

You can propagate the Odalisque violet by cuttings or using seeds. The way the seeds are used is difficult and time consuming. It is used very rarely, for example, if it is not possible to propagate a rare variety in another way.
The grafting method is a very common and simple method, therefore it is used most often. First you need to cut the sheets with an even cut 4 centimeters from the sheet plate. Then these cuttings are placed in water and left in a bright, warm place for a while. To make the roots appear faster, you need to cover the container with water with a film to create a greenhouse effect. After about 16 days, the roots will begin to appear and the LE Odalisque violet can be planted in a separate pot. After transplanting, they water it a little and begin to actively care for it so that the Odalisque violet grows into a healthy flower that pleases the eye.
