We brought out the violet Natalie a few years ago. However, in fact, calling a violet a violet is not entirely correct. These plants are in fact saintpaulia, but for the similarity with another type of plant, this culture is called the violet in the common people. The Natali variety is a large-flowered culture, the flowers have a double appearance, the rosette in plants is always symmetrical and well-formed. On the inside, the foliage is red, and on the front, it is dark green. Usually, for the first time, Natalie violets do not form double inflorescences, but after the second and subsequent flowering, the doubleness appears more and more.

Natalie's violet naturally has its own varieties. And the first of them is PT-Natalie violet. The PT-Natali violet has very delicate, pink flowers, more intensely colored in the middle. A white border is usually formed around the edges. Blue droplets, small blotches, spread over the petals. In the middle, the rosette of the PT-Natali violet is a little bald, since the stems of the leaves are quite high. On one inflorescence, buds are formed different in color and size. Violet PT-Natalie blooms year-round, but for this you will need to provide the plant with proper care. The next variety of this variety is LE-Natalie. These violets also have a beautiful appearance, their flowers are large, and the terry is thick. Basically, the inflorescences of the violets LE-Natalie are white, however, pink and purple stains are randomly located on each petal, the rosettes of the violets LE-Natalie are neat, so gardeners are very fond of these flowers for their special severity. But the violet Natalie Extravagant has flowers more than unusual, in color they range from pale pink to green. The shoots of the violets of this variety are long, and the foliage is usually thin. Violet flowers Natalie Extravagant are quite voluminous, terry, the framing of the petals is multi-colored.

It is best to plant Natalie violets on soil rich in nutrients and trace elements, moisture in the soil should not stagnate, since violets often rot because of this, however, plants develop poorly without water, so the irrigation regime should be adjusted optimally. Usually violets of the Natalie variety are transplanted annually, for this they use new pots and new soil. If you prepare the soil mixture yourself, be sure to add some peat, vermiculite and moss to the garden soil. The soil should not be too sour. It is also impossible to plant violets in large pots, the container for planting plants should be wide enough, but shallow. If the root system of the violet feels too spacious in the pot, then the inflorescences may not form for a long time. Drainage is usually laid at the bottom of the pot, for this they use small pebbles and pebbles, but it is not recommended to put expanded clay in a pot, since this substrate makes the soil too salty. Dust often collects on the surface of the leaf plates, since violets breathe through this pile. But it is best to clean the leaves in a dry way, if you spray the foliage, then this must be done very carefully, since the plants rot from an excess of moisture. Flowers can be watered in a variety of ways. It is best to place the pots of violets for a while in special trays with pebbles and water. In half an hour, the plants are usually saturated with moisture, which means that the pots can be sent back to the windowsill. You can also water Natalie's violets with a watering can, but she must have a long nose, this is the only way you can water the flowers, avoiding water getting on the foliage and shoots. As you know, from an excess of moisture, violets begin to rot. For irrigation, it is better to use warm, settled water. If we talk about illumination, then it is best to grow violets on windowsills, however, the light should be dim, diffused. In the summer, it is recommended to shade the plants for a while, so that the foliage does not turn yellow and does not get burned. If you notice that the shoots have become thin, then this indicates insufficient lighting, Natalie violets need to "bathe" in the sun for 12-16 daily. If you have a problem with lighting in your room, then get a special phytolamp, you will definitely need it in winter, since during this period the plants especially need light. Violets are usually fed with liquid fertilizers, which contain a large amount of phosphorus. It is best to combine top dressing with watering.

There are several ways to propagate Natalie's violet. This is best done by grafting. In order to propagate a plant, you will need to select a healthy and strong leaf from the second or third row, separate it from the plant at an angle of 45 degrees. However, it is better not to use leaves that are too young or old for this. The cut site is recommended to be treated with crushed activated carbon. After that, the cutting is placed in the root in order to stimulate the formation of the root system. The leaf can then be placed in water or rooted in loose and nutritious soil. The plant does not need increased humidity, as this often causes the foliage to rot, so you can try to root the cutting in sphagnum. When the first roots appear on the leaf, you can plant Natalie's violet in small pots. The soil in the container must be nutritious and fertile, and most importantly, well-structured and loose. Do not forget about high-quality watering, in order for the plant to develop better, you can temporarily cover the pot with a film. Natalie's violet rosette will form in a couple of weeks, and after a month the violet can be planted in its permanent habitat. As you can see, propagating a Natalie violet is not so difficult, and growing violets is actually quite easy.
