Spruce on the windowsill

Agree, indoor spruce looks very aesthetically pleasing and cute. But planting them does not take much time and effort, so you can easily plant such a beauty at home.

Indoor spruce: varieties

Even this spruce has a bunch of different varieties. Here are the main varieties that I managed to find. They can be used for planting right at home.

Konica - a very popular variety of Christmas trees in a pot, the size is small, the spruce itself is fluffy due to its small needles. The maximum growth of a tree is only one meter.

Blue wonder - a beautiful variety with an unusual bluish tinge. These ate thick and very attractive.

Korean fir - the type of spruce, which has green needles, is closer to dark.

Cypress - a very cute variety of ate. Plants have a light green color and thin windmills. The only thing is that this variety is quite capricious. Such spruce trees do not like to be located on the balcony with other flowers, as well as temperatures over twelve degrees Celsius.

Nana - this is perhaps the most beautiful variety of spruce. The plant has a blue-white color and looks very cute. The tree grows very slowly - about ten centimeters per year.

All species are quite unusual and beautiful, they can be grown right on your balcony or in your room.

Spruce propagation using cuttings.

You can grow a spruce using a twig. To do this, we will use stem processes (cuttings). They must be cut in late April or early May. Can also be planted in summer. For this we use shoots from the first half of the crown. That is, the topmost ones. Then we plant them in a greenhouse or in a greenhouse.

At the bottom we put some of the small pebbles. The layer of such stones should be about five centimeters. We cover them with earth, the layer of which should be about eleven centimeters. We take the sod land. The next layer is sand, pour it about six centimeters. Experienced gardeners recommend using the river.

Before planting a future tree, the shoots should be placed in a solution of potassium permanganate for a day. Keep in mind that only half the length must be placed in this solution.

After that, we place our cuttings in the sand. Note that the angle of inclination should be thirty degrees, the depth should be approximately four to six centimeters. The distance between the processes is ten centimeters.

Now, until the summer, we water the cuttings once a day, and in the summer four times a day. In August, watering is reduced to once a day.

Spruce tree care.

A plant such as a spruce must be very well looked after. But how do you do it?

First, the plant is often attacked by various viruses. For example, spruce hermes. To understand if there is such a pest on the spruce, you just need to find the yellowed branches.

If you find such, then just use the spraying agent called "antio". If you see caterpillars, use the fufanon and treat the tree branches with it.

Secondly, it is necessary to water the spruce. At first, do it often (as described above, and then less often). Older trees do not need watering.

Third, the plants need to be pruned after winter. It is necessary to cut off the worst branches that have suffered.

Spruce is a really beautiful tree and planting it is not difficult.
