Black currant Ksyusha was obtained at the Institute of Horticulture named after M.A. Lisavenko. The hybrid was obtained by combining two varieties: this is Dikovinka and the variety Jet of free pollination.
Famous breeders - scientists worked on the plant. In 1998, the Ksyusha currant was officially registered and recommended for cultivation in the Siberian region.

Ksyusha currant has medium height and slight thickening, as well as spreading branches of medium length. The shoots here are straight and light green in color. Adult shoots are lignified and have a brown tint of the bark, as well as slight pubescence. The buds are located singly, have a fairly large size and egg shape. The apex of the kidney is pointed.
The leaves are three or five lobed. Moreover, they are quite large. The color of the leaf plate is light green. The surface is matte, leathery with a pronounced pattern of veins. The blades have a sharp end and a middle cut. The central blade is located above the lateral ones and is slightly bent. At the base, the sheet has a pronounced deep groove. At the edges, the leaves have sharp teeth. They are located on a petiole that has a long or short size, as well as an average diameter. The petiole is crimson.
The flowers are medium in size and in the shape of a glass. Sepals are characterized by a light pink tint and slightly curved. The length of the brush is about 8 cm. Up to 10 - 11 berries are formed on each brush. The berries are attached with a thin, long stalk.
Description of fruits
Ksyusha's black currant fruits grow quite large: from 2 to 4 grams. They have a rounded shape and a shiny black skin.
