Sweet cherry Early pink was obtained by planting planting material of such a variety of sweet cherries as “yellow denissena” by free pollination at the Rossoshansk zonal experimental gardening station. Thanks to the work of a selection specialist, namely A. Ya. Voronchikhina, this cherry variety was obtained. This cherry variety is intended for cultivation in special areas since 1987 in the Central Black Earth region and the Lower Volga regions. Sweet cherry Early pink is widespread among new summer residents, most often in the southern household plots of the Central Black Earth Region.

The gland is most often in the amount of one or two pieces, medium size, light color. No stipules are observed. The inflorescence most often includes two to three flowers, large flowers, about thirty to thirty-five millimeters in width, the shape resembles a wide cup, the petals are in the form of a regular oval or a regular circle, the color is white, closed entirely or almost completely. The pistils are located identically from the stamen, the stamens are about seven to thirteen millimeters long, the pistil with an ovary is about fifteen to seventeen millimeters long.The calyx has an elongated tube, the shape resembles a bell, is not covered with anything, the sepals, rounded in the shape of a regular lancet, are solid at the edges, move back and press against the tube, the length is half that of the tube, the tube is about seven to eight millimeters long, sepals are three to four millimeters long. The tubules and sepals are light green, unpainted. The flowering process takes place at normal times, this variety of cherries is self-fertile.

It tastes sweet and slightly sour at the same time, simple taste, tasters rated the taste of fresh large fruits at four point and five tenths on a five-point system, however, in a small crop that grows in the depths of the crown, there is not enough sugar, the fruits are fresh. The fruit stem is thirty-five to forty-five millimeters long, one millimeter thick, when it is fully ripe, it breaks off from the fruit with practically no sap, in slightly unripe fruits, there is a release of juice at the site of attachment of the fruit stem. Cherry seed Pink Early most often has a mass of forty six hundredths of a gram, which is nine point and two tenths of a percent of the total mass of the fruit, in the form of a regular oval, the upper part in the form of a regular circle, just like the base, the color of the newly removed seed is yellow and brownish at the same time, it is removed from the pulp normally.

Features of the variety

The harvest of sweet cherries of the Rosovaya Rannyaya variety ripens quite quickly, in the southern parts of the Central Black Earth region in the second week of the first summer month, the harvest ripens at different times, small in size, the harvest growing in a shaded place ripens much later than the harvest on the sunny side. This variety of sweet cherries is recommended for cultivation in personal plots.

Cherry Early Pink begins to yield when it reaches the age of four to five years, while the amount of the brought harvest increases every year. In the first eight years, it is possible to collect twenty-seven and a half kilograms from each fruit tree, and in more fertile years, you can get forty kilograms from each tree. In 2003, some specimens at the age of fifteen yielded up to seventy kilograms per tree.

The level of resistance of this cherry variety to cold weather is high, the total freezing point immediately after cold winter seasons during the last fifty years is not more than two points. Fruit trees after sixteen years practically do not suffer.The level of resistance of flower buds to cold is normal, but worse than that of some varieties of sweet cherries. Immediately after the cold weather of minus thirty-four degrees on the seventeenth of the first winter month of 1997, eighty-eight point and three-tenths of a percent of flower buds died.
