At the moment, the world knows about ten different varieties of aspidistra. They are all used as medicine in traditional medicine. The nourishing sap of the flower has an anti-inflammatory effect and also minimizes pain and swelling in the joints. Decoctions are also made from culture, which in turn help with cramps and painful sensations in muscle tissue.

The best place for planting aspidistra will be partial shade under tall trees or massive shrubs. Unfortunately, this species is very fond of various insect pests. However, after trying her nutritious juices, all enemies simply die. This is due to the fact that it contains insecticides. This juice is dangerous only for insects; for humans, the dose contained in the foliage will not harm. Also, aspidistra juice is perfect for feeding other plants.

But for spraying, it will not work, because in this case it will not be productive.

The most suitable soil for a plant

Aspidistra has no special soil requirements. She will feel great both on heavy loam and on loose sandy soil. The only condition is a properly selected landing site. We need to find a shaded spot. For the lion's share of the day, the plant should be in a shady area, but if the flowering of the specimen is important to you, then for this the sun's rays must fall on the bush, it is important that they are not straight. The culture does not tolerate drying out of the soil, as well as stagnation of moisture in an earthen coma, because of this, it must be planted on a small hill. You will have to water the indoor aspidistra daily. It will begin to bloom at the end of the summer period. However, the flowers bloom for only one day.
