Description of the drug "Actellic"
This article will provide instructions for the use of Actellic and the basic precautions that must be remembered when using the product, but first, you should still understand what the drug called Actellic is. In fact, it is a chemical that experienced gardeners and gardeners use to combat various types of pests. Basically, the fight is carried out with three groups of pests: agricultural, horticultural and ornamental. They attack plants and cause various fungal diseases. Ultimately, the plant gradually weakens and eventually dies.
This drug belongs to a series of insectoacaricides, therefore, its spectrum of action simultaneously extends to the destruction of harmful insects, and to fight against ticks that appear in a certain season, can cause enormous harm not only to the crop, but also to humans, since ticks are carriers of diseases dangerous to life and health.
As a rule, "Actellic" is referred to a series of non-systemic drugs, it interacts mainly by contact, directly with the insect itself. His nervous system and gastrointestinal tract are affected. Such violations lead to the depletion of the parasite, its paralysis and rapid death. However, such an effect is usually exerted by almost all means that are used against pests and insects.
Also, another important advantage of this drug is that it is completely harmless to the plant itself, but acts exclusively on insects and pests that live on the plant itself. The peculiarity of systemic agents is that they penetrate deeply into the tissues of the plant and act on the insect when it begins to feed on the plant and its juices.
In fact, in general, Actellik has a large number of advantages, some of which can be presented as follows:
-the impact is equally strong on both insects and ticks, which can harm a person or a pet;
- this drug is quite effective against a large number of pests, which are of completely different types; This drug has a wide range and spheres of action, it can be used both in forestry and in agriculture, as well as in horticulture and horticulture. The possibility of using this drug when growing indoor plants is not excluded.
- it is also worth paying attention to the fact that the product has a short duration of action, at the same time has a fairly long-term effect in the fight against insects and pests, and also does not cause much addiction. In addition, the drug does not accumulate either on the plant or in the soil, but at the same time, in the event of a repeated attack by insects and mites, it is necessary, accordingly, to ensure repeated processing with materials.
Instructions for use
Since the drug belongs to a series of chemicals, it is extremely important for the person who decides to use it to remember about the techniques and safety measures. It is important to use it strictly according to the instructions that are attached to each package of the drug. Features of the preparation of a solution for processing plants, consumption rates, processing schedule - all this is regulated in accordance with the information set out in the instructions. In addition, these parameters always depend on the scope of the drug, as well as on what types of treated crops are used to create the solution.
For absolutely all areas of use of the drug, however, there are several standard, universal rules that are extremely important to adhere to, since they can save the plant and at the same time remain effective drugs for combating pests and insects: firstly, it is not worth treating with the drug if there is abundant dew on the surface or the area has just experienced rain. Also, if the weather forecast shows an early onset of rain or precipitation, then you should not organize processing. The drug needs a certain amount of time to penetrate the plant, and if moisture washes it away, then the effect will not follow.
Secondly, the drug should not be processed in a too hot period, as well as on windy days, since at high temperatures above 25 degrees, the drug loses its properties, moreover, spraying in windy weather or upwind will also have no effect: the drug will disperse to nearby areas, will not reach the desired plants, which are in greater need of protection and treatment. Thirdly, it is extremely important to remember that a lot also depends on the time of day at which processing is performed. For example, it is best to spray in the morning, after the dew has already disappeared, or in the evening after 18:00, when nature gradually falls asleep, but the daytime heat has not subsided, although the temperature gradually normalizes to a more comfortable one so that the drug can be absorbed.
The solution can be used to process tomatoes and cucumbers, as well as eggplants and peppers. 2 milliliters of the drug are diluted in 700 milliliters of water, gradually sprayed with the plant drug. If we are talking about the processing of berry crops, then the consumption rate of the drug is 2 milliliters per 1.3 liters of water. It can be processed twice a season, the break between treatments is 7-9 days. Also, the drug is used to treat ornamental plants. In this case, we are talking about 2 milliliters of poison per liter. One liter of the product is usually spent on 10 square meters of territory on which decorative plantings are located.
As we can see, the application depends on what type and variety the crop belongs to, so this must be taken into account when processing the territories. We also emphasize that it is imperative to observe safety measures for the person himself. We will dwell on them in more detail in the next part of this article.
Security measures
As we have already noted, the drug is not toxic to plants: it directly affects pests and insects. At the same time, it belongs to the second group of danger, which means that if the drug is used incorrectly, then a person can get injured, especially poisoning and effects on the central nervous system.
For this reason, you should follow a few simple rules so as not to endanger your life and not get multiple injuries:
- food containers are strictly prohibited for use as utensils for the cultivation of a poisonous preparation;
- when starting to work with the drug, it is necessary to protect the face, head and hands so that the substance does not get into and does not cause irritation. Especially carefully you should protect the mucous membrane (nose, mouth, eyes), since it is through it that the drug is absorbed into the body most quickly and causes negative reactions;
- in no case should you eat or drink while working with poison. Through food, poison and its vapors can enter the body, which will lead to inevitable poisoning;
- there should be no strangers, children, or animals in the room being processed;
-Do not spray the drug near aquariums and reservoirs.
